The Essential Guide to Characters makes her the daughter of Chirpa and the sister of Kneesaa. Perhaps the book is in error, but I thought I'd mention it. — SavageBob 15:32, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

  • I don't have the EGTC, but the Star Wars Encyclopedia does this too, in Kneesaa's entry. I honestly think that what happened was somebody (Mangles, I guess, and then Sansweet later) got Latara and Kneesaa mixed up. It's as plain as day in the cartoon: Latara openly says that Wiley and Nippett are her little brother and sister. The Encyclopedia says that Chirpa remarried and that Kneessaa had the two younger siblings. However, it makes absolutely no mention of Latara and Kneesaa being sisters, and that leads me to believe that the author simply got the two mixed up. So yes, we could take this information and infer that Latara's dad died, Chirpa married her mom, and then everybody really is related, but I think it's better to just acknowledge that this was a mistake and ignore it. -- Ozzel 20:28, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
    • I agree. Perhaps we should add this information to "Behind the scenes" for the appropriate articles. — SavageBob 03:23, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

The Stranglethorn crisisEdit

We must change this article. During the Stranglethorn crisis, Nippet was saved by Princess Kneesaa, not only Wicket and the Tromes. We can see the Princess saving Nippet and other children here:

Kneesaa saving children

We must insert Kneesaa's name on this article.

Wicket's article have a text about his action during the crisis:

While the Tromes distracted the stranglethorn, Wicket sneaked into Logray's hut and retrieved the potion that would tame the plant. Logray instructed him to place one drop into each of the plants mouths, but seeing how many heads the plant had sprouted, Wicket instead gathered a group of acorns into his satchel and poured the potion over them. Then he, the Tromes, and the Ewoks fed them to the plant until it shriveled back to it's original size.

Of course, we can let Wicket and the Tromes on this article. -- Delmar Nori 23:48, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
