Second lightsaber?[]

Isn't this his second lightsaber? In [Jedi Apprentice: The Rising Force] he has another one on the cover. Lieutenant J.J 09:16, August 21, 2010 (UTC)Lieutenant J.J

"Rising Force" lightsaber[]

I see no answer was given to Lieutenant J.J's discussion two years ago, but he did raise a valid point. The lightsaber featured on Jedi Apprentice: The Rising Force is very different from the one in TPM (it looks more closely like Obi-Wan Kenobi's third lightsaber) and appears twelve years before. Should we rename and make a new article for the "Rising Force saber", or should we just mention it in this article?--LelalMekha 13:06, April 7, 2012 (UTC)

The Life and Legend of Obi-Wan Kenobi makes clear that the lightsaber on the cover of The Rising Force was constructed by Obi-Wan using materials and crystals available at the Temple on Coruscant. It was not until sometime between being reinstated as a Jedi and turning fourteen that he went to Ilum with Qui-Gon and built this one using Ilum crystals. —MJ— Jedi Council Chambers 02:52, August 17, 2013 (UTC)

Did You Know?[]

This information has little to pertain to the article itself, but it could be noted in a Trivia section (if one were to exist) that the design for Obi-Wan's lightsaber wasn't created for the character. It was rather just the actor, Ewan McGregor, choosing the prop design in a behind-the-scenes footage here. --Blemo

Number of Crystals[]

The article says it had a single crystal yet it also says that the lightsaber had a blade length and power control, something I believe that only a multi-cyrstal saber could do. Which is correct. GreenDragonRanger (talk) 02:54, July 30, 2014 (UTC)

Lost or destroyed?[]

I've seen several passages that say that this lightsaber was destroyed, but was that ever confirmed? It fell into a pit and we really don't know what eventually became of it. It could very well exist somewhere else. GreenDragonRanger (talk) 02:54, July 30, 2014 (UTC)

You can catch a glimpse of his retrieved lightsaber on his belt when the Chancellor's ship lands at the end of the film. ProtoKun7 (talk) 07:08, March 10, 2016 (UTC)
