I didn't see a reason to point out the supposed fan superiority of the trilogy over another in the trivia section. correct me if you think I'm wrong. Unsigned comment by 24.218.85.127 (talk • contribs).

It is and has been a matter of heated debate MoffRebus 01:08, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

Sith Word...[]

it is not mentioned in any episode of the Original Trilogy… MTFBWUA. Starkiller1996Adidas F50+79jawas.jpg 04 March 2007, 15:10 (UTC)

  • It's mentioned in the scripts, the comics and the novelisations. MoffRebus 01:06, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

official name[]

As far as I can tell, "Original trilogy" is a fan-assigned label not used as a label by Lucasfilm on official merchandise. Unless anyone knows otherwise, this page should either have a {Conjecture} tag, or be removed altogether, as it mostly repeats information available elsewhere. Asithol 01:16, December 27, 2009 (UTC)

  • Apparently, Lucasfilm is now using the label "Original trilogy," according to amazon.com's image of the packaging for the forthcoming Blu-ray set. (I also missed earlier that this label was used in the officially licensed game LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy.) Asithol 11:59, January 16, 2011 (UTC)
    • However, the comment "often abbreviated as OT" seems to be fanon, unless anyone knows of licensed material using this abbreviation. It seems to be exclusively used by fans. Asithol (talk) 13:12, July 11, 2019 (UTC)
      • Removed now, unless anyone can cite a licensed source. Asithol (talk) 20:58, January 20, 2020 (UTC)

So, why is there an entire heading dedicated to pinball? Unsigned comment by 99.8.181.132 (talk • contribs).
