ImagesEdit

Would it be possible for someone to get images of Sturn from all the other versions the game? As in PS2, PSP, Wii, Nintendo DS, etc. Grand Moff Tranner Imperial Department of Military Research (Comlink) 21:16, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

Lightwhip Edit

I have made mention in Bts the paradox that Sturn's use of a lightwhip presents. Gethralkin 14:23, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

And I removed it. Sturn is up for FAN; speculation within the article is not allowed. All additions must be sourced and backed up by Canon. - Cavalier OneFarStar(Squadron channel) 14:30, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Complete Reversion Edit

If an article is up for FAN, does that mean that only the original editor is responsible for changes? I was under the impression that anyone can still make edits to make it better, as mentioned in the template above. I ask because the changes I made were all reverted, including such cases of bad grammar, for example, "Starkiller fought his way to the skyhook's mooring structure and begun removing the tractor pins…" is grammatically incorrect. It should be written either "and had begun", or "and began". Other cases where I made changes is because a word or phrase was not linked, or the word itself was out of place, for instance, "his change to hunt a Jedi", should have been written "his chance to hunt…" and Starkiller was by no means a Jedi, so Force-user would have been more appropriate. Now, I understand, as above, that drawing conclusions on game mechanics might be construed as speculation, but why revert links and grammar? Gethralkin 18:49, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

  • As the person who nominated this article, I think I should have a say in this - and I'll be polite for now. Please stop. Grand Moff Tranner Imperial Department of Military Research (Comlink) 22:08, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
    • My apologies Tranner, I meant no disrespect. In fact it is a very fine article to begin with, and as you are the nominator, then I would expect that you would have much to do with the end result. I was referring, however, to the grammatical and word usage edits that were being continually removed seemingly out of hand by User:Toprawa and Ralltiir. Edits, I might add, that you yourself have incorporated into the article nonetheless. My point is that I was merely helping to make the article better. I am by no means perfect, and always appreciate when someone proofs my work. When I do the same, I expect that I would be honored the same invitation that all registered users on this site are given according to the WookieeProject Ambition note above: "If you would like to participate, you can edit the article attached to this notice…" So, really, my question is, why is it different when I make a change (as per the note above) and it is removed, than when another makes the same change and it is preferred? I am only inquiring as to the procedure and not intending to step on toes. Gethralkin 23:51, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
      • Let me apologize for reverting your most recent edits, as I can now see that there was nothing wrong with them. Nonetheless, you did add an awful lot of speculation that, had it not been immediately removed, would have impeded the nomination. But parts of that edit were acceptable. I think I speak for Toprawa when I say that we're only trying to make this the best it can be. I understand that you're trying to help, and I appreciate it. But I would prefer in the future that, should this occur on another nomination of mine, you contact me directly as well. I'd be glad to settle any disputes. Grand Moff Tranner Imperial Department of Military Research (Comlink) 00:49, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
        • No problem, I understand the point about having speculative information. I just have not yet had any real involvement in a FAN project (and at first, I was unaware that this was nominated), and up to now had no idea of the protocol. I have no problem with any changes on nominated articles in the future to prevent any further misunderstandings. Gethralkin 02:20, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
