Another Moby Dick referenceEdit

Queequeg is a fictional Polynesian harpononer from Herman Melville's Moby Dick. The Weequay species (as described in *Databank title their Databank entry, BTS in the Databank (content now obsolete; backup link)) were named after the Polynesian Queequeg (and, upon certain sources, were originally named Queequay). I'm thinking this could deserve a mention in the B.T.S. section of this article.--Skippy Farlstendoiro 06:48, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

  • Indeed it should, and so I've added it. The "Queequay" part still needs referencing, though. jSarek 00:26, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
    • Where is the source that indicates this Weequay as Queequeg, without implying that it's a nickname for the species instead of the individual's name? --Sompeetalay (talk) 14:38, October 24, 2012 (UTC)
      • As far as I can tell, Queequeg was/is a production name similar to Weeba Weeba. Rokkur Shen (talk) 02:55, February 18, 2013 (UTC)
        • I'm still looking for a source that indicates that this particular Weequay is named Queequeg. The name hasn't been used by a single source that ventures outside the actual production (in contrary of Wooof, for example who was named by the CCG). --Sompeetalay (talk) 10:43, April 4, 2013 (UTC)

He was never in a comic book?Edit

This page does not list a comic book appearance of him. I would have thought it to be very unlikely that he has not appeared at least in a Return of the Jedi comic book adaptation. Matty McRib (talk) 02:58, December 9, 2013 (UTC)

  • If he does appear in a comic, could anyone upload a picture of that?Matty McRib (talk) 03:06, December 9, 2013 (UTC)
  • I purchased the Marvel Adaptation of Return of the Jedi issue #1 he is in one cell of that one. With the way the issue left off I'm sure his death must be featured in the issue #2. Matty McRib (talk) 21:09, January 6, 2014 (UTC)
