Species[]

Has his species been established? I always thought he was human, but an earlier version of Endor said he was an alien. It's hard to tell from the animation. —Silly Dan (talk) 00:00, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

  • I'm pretty sure he's alien, but I don't think his species has ever been established. -- Ozzel 05:05, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
    • He looks a little like a Koorivar. And there's enough room under the hat to hide the horn.--Valin Kenobi 06:48, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

Expansion[]

Nice work! I love that the whole thing starts off with an evil laugh. :-P -- Ozzel 03:39, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

Spelling[]

Leland Chee says it's Raygar. —Silly Dan (talk) 00:03, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

Sounds like.....[]

Is it just me, or does this guy kinda sound like the wizard Gargamel from the Smurfs. He wants to destroy the Smurfs just like this guy wants to destroy the Ewoks. Kinda weak...but it jumped into my mind. Delta1695 18:57, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Expanding[]

As per here. Seems like none has watched that review yet. Kreivi Wolter 14:36, May 5, 2011 (UTC)

"First and only appearance"?[]

This article's BtS section starts with: Raygar's first and only appearance was in the Star Wars: Ewoks episode "Battle for the Sunstar,"(…) However the Appearance list also includes "Death in the Slave Pits of Lorrd" (2009, thus after this article was featured but before it was reviewed in 2011). This is not mentioned in BtS. Thus: Firstly, the said sentence in BtS is, AFAIK, false and should be corrected or removed. Secondly, I think "DitSPoL" merits a mention in BtS, maybe even saying "the character was recovered twenty-three years after his first appearance."

I am reluctant to modify a FA myself, so I'd rather leave that to more active contributors. Thank you for reading, Skippy Farlstendoiro (talk) 09:15, July 16, 2013 (UTC)

  • Thank you for pointing that out. You are correct, it is customary to ask the original nominator before editing a featured article—if only out of courtesy. However, Thefourdotelipsis has been inactive for a while. So if you feel like you can handle the references and whatnot, feel free to edit the BTS accordingly. --LelalMekha (talk) 09:21, July 16, 2013 (UTC)
