- Both Legends and real life doesn't count as a source for information in canon, they can be different--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 23:01, September 26, 2017 (UTC)

Lieutenant Commander[]
So, where do Lieutenant Commanders like Ezra Bridger come into it? In real-world rankings, LCDRs are equivalent to Army majors. And, indeed, in the Imperial Navy, Lieutenant Commander immediately follows Captain in progression. So, does Ezra outrank Captain Hera Syndulla? What would his insignia be? 69.195.61.2 01:02, January 7, 2018 (UTC)
- the rebels rank structure changes in every movie, in theory the Alliance Fleet ranks should be Midshipman,Ensign,Sublieutenant,Lieutenant,Lieutenant Commander,Commander,Captain,Commodore, each with their pip badge, then Rear Admiral,Vice Admiral,Admiral and Admiral of the Fleet all with the same badge. For the Alliance Army and Alliance Starfighter Command ranks should be the real-world NATO equivalents of the Alliance Fleet. i.e Admiral is General and so on. but the chances of a full flushed out rank structure coming to canon is unlikely, I just created by own one the lines up with what is seen on-screen and real-world ranks

Commodore[]
Is there no insignia for a commodore? In Star Wars (2020) 26, Grek (who is a commodore) wears the same badge that he did when he was a commander Lewisr (talk) 02:44, 7 September 2022 (UTC)
Bren Derlin[]
It is stated in the article that: "Major Bren Derlin's badge had three red dots arranged with two on the top row, and the remainder below and between them." However, in the film we can clearly see that it's not correct, Derlin is wearing a Commander badge. TribuneCoruscant (talk) 06:53, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
