Major rewrite (Number 2)Edit
- Copied from Talk:Rebel trooper#Major rewrite (Number 2)
I have tried to rewrite the article. I agree with some other posters here that the rebel soldiers one could refer to as Rebel Troopers are not Special Forces or SpecForces even though a great deal of the Rellions troops most certainly are. Tantive and Yavin troops from the movie, the troops seen in Mysteries of the Sith, Galactic Battlegrounds and many other sources are clearly not SpecForces. The article is now non-special force related. Is this acceptable? One thing is still bugging me thoug, Rebel troopers (in plural) still redirects to Alliance Special Forces and i don't know how to fix that. It is the Rebel trooper article i rewrote....and not the Rebel troopers--Davidvcsandersen 21:03, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
- I think that may be justified; we've been give no reason to think (that I know of) that a lot of the troopers we saw came from the Alliance's Sector Forces, rather than the Alliance Special Forces. jSarek 01:16, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
- And as a side note, you only need to bold the first appearance of the topic and each of its synonyms in an article. Bolding all instances of "Rebel trooper" or "trooper" is overkill. jSarek 01:24, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
The First Rebel Troopers Edit
What were the first Rebel troopers formed of? I know some were the remnants of Kota's Militia, but what about the rest--LastJedi1515 23:24, November 13, 2009 (UTC)?
i am asking my self do they have even a blastercarabine as a weapon? I mean these A280 and and and DH17 are the counterpart of Imperial DLT 20A or the more comon and more effective imperial DLT 19 but they have no weapon that is comparable with an E-11 . Why they dont get Carabines ? the DH-17 Pistol is not a bad weapon in close quarters combat but like the storm of Tantive IV shows the just not that effective like the E-11 rifle. 220.127.116.11 18:56, January 25, 2015 (UTC)
