Wasn't it the Spirit of the Republic, not the Resolute, that was sent for supplies at Christophsis? I thought Anakin didn't get the Resolute until Wild Space, just after Christophsis. Source: The two CW novels, although I don't have the first one on hand, which is why I'm checking. :) Tam 09:17, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

  • I just read that in Wild Space too. Resolute was brand new at the Battle of Bothawui. It wasn't at Christophsis. That was Spirit of the Republic. Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith 12:51, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
    • Follow-up: I removed the info from this page and cleaned up the Spirit of the Republic's page. This presumably means that the Malevolence arc takes place after the Droids arc (since the eps aren't necessarily in order), but it makes sense. Either way, the pages are cleaned up. w00t. Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith 13:01, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
      • The film's novel has implied that the Resolute was indeed present at Christophsis. For more information, please see the novel's talk page. CC7567 (talk) 15:30, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
        • I'd like to add that it's the quote itself currently on the Resolute article that implies that it was there. It says that Yularen withdrew the Resolute from orbit, and that's quoted directly from the novel. The Spirit of the Republic was at Teth for sure, but not confirmed at Christophsis. CC7567 (talk) 15:34, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
          • How does that quote imply anything? It just says Admiral Yularen's ship was at Christophsis. The quote itself doesn't establish that he's on the Resolute. He was assigned the Resolute at the beginning of Wild Space.
          • The quote actually INCLUDES the commentary underneath it. See, each chapter in the book begins with a quotation. The quotation above the third Chapter actually mentions the Resolute as being the ship that had to withdraw from the Christophsis orbit.--Darth Paulus JaingHead (May the Force serve you well!) 17:17, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
  • Oh ok. Didn't realize that this quote was from the start of a chapter, I just assumed it was in the dialogue. That makes sense then. I wonder how they'll retcon that: will it be that the Resolute was removed from service to get repairs, and get relaunched alongside the other two ships shortly before Bothawui? Karen Miller really shouldn't have tried to introduce Anakin's fleet like that. She's mangled the continuity FAR more than the movie or TV series has. Weak. Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith 17:23, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
    • It's possible. After all, the Resolute WAS severely damaged above Christophsis. And note, that it was not referred to as Yularen's flagship at this time. The flagship was the Spirit of the Republic. It means, that the Spirit had to be destroyed OR disabled OR reasigned at some point between the battle of Teth and the battle of Bothawui. Hopefully, we'll see it in the second season...--Darth Paulus JaingHead (May the Force serve you well!) 17:52, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

CrewEdit

I have got a question the crew of the resolute: why does the clones of the ship wear the typical phase 1 armor or the other crew uniform is their a difference in their jobs or grades ? Unsigned comment by 217.87.245.57 (talk • contribs).

  • Naval officers as implied by the Clone Wars Campaign Guide, but no difference directly clarified.

Flagship? Edit

Was The Resolute the flgaship of the Second Assault on Geonosis? There aren't naaay official sources as of yet, but as it was under Yularen's Admiralty, I assume that would be it. Anomaly Master 98 18:19, November 11, 2009 (UTC)

Well, if there's no source, we cannot speculate. This isn't the place to speculate or discuss this. --Xd1358 Talk 18:22, November 11, 2009 (UTC)
    • The Resolute WAS present on geonosis! It wasn't necessarily the flagship, but was the Venator-Class used to transport Poggle the Lesser after his capture (Shown in Brain Invaders) I'm adding it to the article. Anomaly Master 98 15:50, December 6, 2009 (UTC)
      • Neither the episode nor the episode guide identify that Star Destroyer as the Resolute. Therefore, the speculation does not belong in the article. Grand Moff Tranner Imperial Department of Military Research (Comlink) 16:12, December 6, 2009 (UTC)

I just looked on the site and couldn't find the secrets revealed article you cite. Could you provide a link to it? - Nx1701g 03:36, January 9, 2011 (UTC)

There is the link: http://www.starwars.com/theclonewars/guide/episode312.html scroll down the page, past the first two pictures named: "episode imagry" and "concept Art" and below them you'll notice a heading in bold saying "secrets revealed" read through, and there you have it. Skyguy007

Yellow Journalism MuchEdit

"Ventress ordered half of her fighters to disable the port side shield generators of the already weakened cruiser, while she went for the bridge. With cold and cruel resolve, she ducked and weaseled through the hail of blaster fire and, once the port side shield generators were destroyed, she flew in between the cruiser's two bridges and poured laser fire into them. The entire cruiser was engulfed in flames, though Admiral Yularen managed to escape."

Is this an encyclopedia or a Jedi tabloid? 68.237.139.166 17:43, May 27, 2012 (UTC)
