Species[]
In Uprising, Riley's species will change depending on what species the player chooses for their character. Should we continue using human as Riley's canonical species, as that's how she's depicted in artwork and trailers? 21:29, September 11, 2015 (UTC)
- I think we should, for the reason you said: that's how she's depicted in artwork and trailers. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 21:43, September 11, 2015 (UTC)
- I agree. In that case, we can say that Riley's sibling was a human as well. Cevan (talk) 21:44, September 11, 2015 (UTC)
- Saying that Riley's sibling is Human is not right neither. As you know for example, if a Twi'lek and a Human had a child together, the child would either be Human, Hybrid or a Twi'lek. So, Riley and the siblings parents could be two different species, meaning that possibly, Riley is a Human and her sibling is something else. --Kyle03 (talk) 07:17, September 12, 2015 (UTC)
- First off, don't change my post on a talk page. Unless at the beginning of a sentence, "human" isn't capitalized in canon. Second, we don't know yet in canon what species the child of two people from two different species will be. Third, even if it turns out to be possible in canon, that doesn't mean Riley's sibling isn't human. In Uprising, it's impossible to have a character of a certain species while Riley is a different species. Since Riley is a human, her sibling, the player character, HAS to be a human as well. - Even so, there's no confirmation that Riley's sibling is Human. --Kyle03 (talk) 15:08, September 13, 2015 (UTC)
- Cevan is saying that Riley is human because of how she is portrayed in promotional materials, and since her species changes with the Player Character, she is only human in the game if you make her sibling human. Thus we may conclude that Riley's sibling was human. Overlordjeff (talk) 15:32, September 13, 2015 (UTC)
