Human?[]

Are we sure he's a human? The markings on his forehead could suggest otherwise. Also, I noticed he's categorized as such on the bottom of the page, yet he isn't in his infobox. BTW, is he named after this guy? DAWUSS 00:41, October 18, 2009 (UTC)

  • You are correct, he is not human. I've removed the category. But next time, feel free to do so yourself. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 00:46, October 18, 2009 (UTC)
    • His species was verified in the episode guide. As a note: unverified information is not always added with bad intentions. CC7567 (talk) 00:50, October 18, 2009 (UTC)
      • Episode Guide strikes again. He doesn't look full-on human with those forehead markings, not to mention that triangular divot right between his eyes. *sigh* I swear I read over that guide twice and missed the one instance they call him Human both times. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 01:00, October 18, 2009 (UTC)
    • The last time I did that (edit a page by adding significant info to a page), I nearly started a flame war. DAWUSS 01:13, October 18, 2009 (UTC)
      • That is normally but not always the case. This problem is solvable by proper sourcing. CC7567 (talk) 01:15, October 18, 2009 (UTC)
      • Those forehead marks could be Scipio-typical facial marks or tattoos or whatever.--Gonzalo84 04:34, October 19, 2009 (UTC)
        • We simply don't know, and it's best left to be answered by official sources. Please leave this discussion as it is. CC7567 (talk) 04:38, October 19, 2009 (UTC)

Voice Actor[]

This may or may not be relevant, but does anyone know who voiced this man?--Linkstarwars 06:14, October 18, 2009 (UTC)

Baron Clovis[]

It's not stated anywhere in the episode guide. But when Padmé tries differens passwords in the library, one of them is "baron Rush Clovis". I think it's safe to assume that it means he IS a baron, and that it should be mentioned in the article.--Tellanroaeg 18:14, October 19, 2009 (UTC)

Is he dead?[]

Since Dod and Poggle were angry at Clovis for betraying them, can we assume he was killed by them? Unsigned comment by 58.165.169.157 (talk • contribs).

  • No, we cannot. And please heed the very first template box at the top of this page. The talk page is for the discussion of the article itself, not discussion of the subject of the article. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 05:04, October 21, 2009 (UTC)

Kiffar[]

Couldn't he be Kiffar with his yellow tattoos on his forehead. Jackson31195 November 2nd- 5:54pm

  • Possibly? Yes. Is he? Not according to the episode guide. Please mind the {{Talkheader}} tag at the top of this page; mainspace talk pages are not for speculation. CC7567 (talk) 05:42, November 3, 2009 (UTC)

Bts[]

Is it worth mentioning in the Bts section that he has the same lastname as Clovis, the first king of the Franks? —Jawaman No, I did NOT steal your droid! 16:24, January 13, 2010 (UTC)

  • Not if it's not a confirmed connection. CC7567 (talk) 00:20, January 14, 2010 (UTC)

New Episode[]

There is some footage online of an unreleased Season 5 episode, possibly going to be released in Season 6, of Skywalker, Amidala, and Clovis escaping from the bounty hunter Embo. What's the canon status of an episode that's been produced if a preview clip has been leaked, if it hasn't actually been aired yet? It could at least confirm than Clovis survived his confrontation with Dod.--ID-21 Dolphin DolphinJedi(Talk) 21:26, March 9, 2013 (UTC)

  • The proper thing to do would be to wait until the episode airs. So far we probably have a minute or two worth of footage of a story that takes at least twenty-two minutes to tell. We shouldn't be assuming and making connections based on trailer footage. CC7567 (talk) 21:29, March 9, 2013 (UTC)
    • If I may, this intverview confirms that the episodes were held back in favor of the Young Jedi arc because they were over the limit. Corellian PremierJedi symbolThe Force will be with you always 01:05, March 10, 2013 (UTC)
    • Why havn't we added the new data about season six, showing that not only Clovis SURVIVED but how he ACTUALLY died? Unsigned comment by 74.73.148.152 (talk • contribs).
      • Hey don't blame me, i posted data on the new eps. not my fault some idiot took it down. Unsigned comment by 74.73.148.152 (talk • contribs).
        • Please take note of the {{Inuse}} tag at the top of the article. The user who originally nominated the article for the FAN process is taking care of the update. Until then, you are asked to refrain from editing the article to avoid edit conflicts. CC7567 (talk) 01:32, March 11, 2014 (UTC)
          • Not only has that tag been remove but now it has the inquisitorious on iit for being outdated. someone fix this article now. We wasted enough time as it is. (74.73.148.152 16:28, May 15, 2014 (UTC))
            • I will try to fix it this week. If anyone can go back and source it once I'm done I would greatly appreciate it. 76.127.239.163 23:37, May 27, 2014 (UTC)
              • Done, just needs sourcing and images.76.127.239.163 11:59, May 30, 2014 (UTC)

NOT LEGEND[]

Rush clovis appeared in The Clone Wars ergo deserve the CANON tag not the legend tag, this article is poorly manage Unsigned comment by 74.73.148.152 (talk • contribs).

  • The current version of this article incorporates material outside of the TCW episodes, so it is considered the Legends version. CC7567 (talk) 04:21, May 16, 2014 (UTC)
