Species parentageEdit

Where is it stated that her father was a "Redar?" This smells of fanon to me. Kuralyov 04:34, 10 Dec 2005 (UTC)

According to the Databank, her father is human. So if one of her parents is Theelin, it must be her mother. 68.47.234.131 17:48, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

  • Theelin? But how did she acquire those head spikes and skin complexion? Lightman 21:51, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

Galaxies opera patronEdit

Anyone know the source identifying her as one of the Opera House patrons, as opposed to (possibly) just someone who looked like her? — Silly Dan 15:28, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

  • Dressing a Galaxy for one, and i'm sure there are more. --Azizlight 15:33, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
    • The RotS Visual Dictionary for another - Kwenn 12:14, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
      • I'm so hoping somebody establishes that the one at the opera was her mother. Otherwise we can only conclude that Theelins age reeeeeeeeeeally slowly, considering she didn't age a day in the 23 years between III and VI.--Valin Kenobi 08:30, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
        • Her mother who has the exact same name? I think it's her. I think she is probably in her late teens or early 20s in ROTS and in her 40s in ROTJ. Believe it or not, there are women in their 40s who look like they're in their 20s.--Lord OblivionSith holocronSith Emblem 05:11, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
          • Case in point, Femi Taylor, who played Oola in 1983 and 1997. -- Ozzel 05:15, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
            • Or Sabine Ehrenfeld, the ridiculously gorgeous Overstock.com spokeswoman, who is in fact 43 (!). You've got a point I suppose. But then again, '83 to '97 is still only a difference of 16 years, versus the 23 between ROTS and ROTJ.--Valin Kenobi 06:13, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

Main photoEdit

  • Can we get a different photo for the main pic--with a more neutral stance instead of the current hookerish/pornstarish pose? This or this are good candidates, if someone can find larger versions.--Valin Kenobi 03:24, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
    • Well, she is a dancer. I really don't see a problem. -- Ozzel 04:52, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
      • Besides being objectifying to the actress concerned, vaguely trashy-looking, etc., to the casual browser it might reinforce the stereotype of fanboys who can't get any and have to make do with checking out alien bimbos on the Internet. :P A portrait-style pose seems more encyclopedic.--Valin Kenobi 04:22, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

ContradictionEdit

  • The opening paragraph states that Rystall's mother was a Theelin, and her father human. Yet the Biography section states that "Rystáll discovered that her father was among the last of the Theelin species" (emphasis added). So which is it to be? Is it her mother or her father who's a Theelin? 138.38.32.86 21:51, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
    • IIRC, some of the original sources are in contradiction on this as well. I don't know whether a definitive ruling has since been rendered.--Valin Kenobi 03:55, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

Feet Edit

Is it possible that her "Hooves" are really shoes? Also what does A real Thileen look like? Chaosman92 23:04, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

  • It's certainly possible, but then again Diva Shaliqua had similar-looking feet. And as the main Theelin article explains, we don't know what a pureblood specimen looked like because most of the ones we know about are hybrids (with humans or other near-human species).--Valin Kenobi 09:23, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
