Sith Lord?[]
Did Savage become a Sith Lord, or just an apprentice? 104.34.250.89 05:31, November 30, 2015 (UTC)
While Savage trained under Count Dooku and Darth Maul, neither of which died in the Clone Wars show, (see new info from Star Wars Rebels: Season 2: Twilight of the Apprentice, where Maul reappeared as 'Old Master' and simply Maul) Savage never became a true Dark Lord.98.252.19.4 17:39, October 1, 2016 (UTC)
There are new theories, of course, that have been provided in Star Wars Rebels: Season 3 Episode 2, where Ezra Bridger and Kanan Jarrus put forth a rescue mission for their rebel friends who became prisoners of the revived Darth Maul. Hoping to find answers to defeat the Galactic Empire, Maul has Ezra collect a Sith and a Jedi Holocron, two ancient artifacts that can unlock untold secrets when combined. While failing once more to bring Ezra to the Dark Side of the Force, Maul learns a legendary truth... Savage Oppress lives!98.252.19.4 17:39, October 1, 2016 (UTC)
I was personally excited when I learned this truth, and of course it won't be the topic of the discussion. The point made here is that after being defeated by Darth Sidious in Star Wars The Clone Wars, fans should certainly expect Savage to be craving for revenge, possibly striving to climb to the rank of Sith Lord, and working beside Maul instead of below him as an apprentice.98.252.19.4 17:39, October 1, 2016 (UTC)

- "Twin suns"? Obi-wan lives, not Savage. Overlordjeff (talk) 17:59, October 1, 2016 (UTC)
IMO YES, Savage was a Sith Lord, although breaking the Rule of Two, which most Banite Sith did. Darth Tyranus took Savage Opress as his secret apprentice in season three, episode 13, titled Monster. This is similar to Sidious taking Maul as his secret apprentice. Tyranus did this with the intention of destroying Sidious and ruling with Savage: "I foresee we will do great things together. I shall teach you the ways of the dark side. Soon, your powers will rival that of the great Sith Lord Darth Maul. We will be even more powerful than Lord Sidious. We shall rule the galaxy together, my apprentice." Red Heathen (talk) 06:13, May 22, 2020 (UTC)
poor ver.[]
Why canon version is so...poor? Just merge both versions in to the canon one. —Unsigned comment by Trajforce (talk • contribs).
Savage Opress somehow DID become a Sith lord, but then lost the title. But let's get to his apprenticeship,he IS an unworthy apprentice. Kylow (talk) 16:13, December 18, 2016 (UTC)Kylow

Can't we just copy everything from the legends page?--Commandodroid4333 (talk) 03:50, October 21, 2018 (UTC)

Fun theory until someone talks to and convinces Lucasfilm group to make Canon[]
I have a theory about Savage's saber. It was said before that for a Sith or Dark Side wielder to have a saber they must kill a Jedi and make the saber crystal bleed. I believe he took the crystals of Halsey and Knox to make his saber. Like I said this is just a fun idea to talk about and play with until otherwise.
