What about Rune Haako? He entered with Gunray, and nobody else brought secretaries--Erl

Move?Edit

Should we move this to Leadership Council? It definitely would have been the name the council would have prefered. -- SFH 15:50, 2 Nov 2005 (UTC)

  • Well, it really was the Separatist Council, however, Separatist Leadership Council might work. Cmdr. J. Nebulax 20:34, 2 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Other members. Edit

As shown by this, there is another member of the Separatist Council. From what I see, it could possibly be Toonbuck Toora. But, there is also the matter of Rogwa Wodrata. Since she was at the meeting prior to the Battle of Geonosis, wouldn't that make her a member of the Separatist Council as well? So, from these two examples, it is extremely possible that there were more members of the Separatist Council. Admiral J. Nebulax 21:28, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

Also, Rune Haako is at the end of the table, though he is the only aide on the council. Should I add him? Mastermundi 14:06, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

So how many people are actually members of the council? There's Nute, San, Wat, Shu, Poggle, Tikkes, Po and Passel, but what about Rogwa Wodrata? Mastermundi 14:12, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

  • Well, while Rogwa Wodrata was at Geonosis, that doesn't make her a Council member. She could have easily decided "Hell no" after the battle broke out and left both the Republic and the CIS. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) 20:31, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

Unfortunately, there's no evidence either way. Mastermundi 14:29, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

If you don't mind my adding to this old discussion, has there been any official confirmation since March that the person seen at the end of the table on Utapau is Rogwa? It looks bulky like the Rogwa/Toonbuck Toora costumes, but the head is difficult to make out, but the costume seems unusually simple.Eggmanland 20:48, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Leeland Chee said Rogwa isn't in ROTS, and that the Separatist at the table is unknown.--Rune Haako 20:53, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
    • Wha? Hmm. I'm surprised that so much time has passed without this mystery Separatist being given some kind of identity. I'm sure someone at Lucasfilm's continuity department at least has access to photos, or the costume itself. I'm not going to lose sleep over this, though, and I'm guessing they aren't, either.Eggmanland 21:18, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

AOTC comic book member Edit

I found another member... Look to the trial of Anakin and Padme in the AOTC comic book... You'll see an insectoid member with a yellow face. Should we make a page for her? Lucius malfoy7 18:49, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

First council on Geonosis Edit

Is this the order of the council in AotC, starting with Dooku and going to Dooku's right:

  • Dooku
  • Nute Gunray (with Gilramos Libkath standing behind)
  • Rogwa Wodrata
  • Po Nudo
  • Tikkes
  • Shu Mai (with Qi Zhu standing behind)
  • Wat Tambor
  • Passel Argente (with Denaria Kee standing behind)
  • San Hill
  • Poggle the Lesser (with Sun Fac standing behind)

Mastermundi 14:24, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

I'm not sure about San, we can't see anyone next to him. When Wat finishes speaking, he looks to his right, as though expecting someone to speak - possibly San. Mastermundi 09:02, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

  • Well, we could always try to match up the background with the others. Admiral J. Nebulax (talk) Imperial Emblem 13:39, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

Good idea. I'll try it. Mastermundi 13:35, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

  • These may help some,

Yet more useful images User:Rune Haako. Thanks. Mastermundi 15:23, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

Where do you get them all from? Mastermundi 14:21, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

OK. Thanks. Mastermundi 11:15, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

Move to CIS council?Edit

Have redirected CIS council to this, I had an idea. Shouldn't we move this to CIS council? After all, the CIS was the proper name of the Separatist movement, although then again I haven't seen a source naming it as the CIS council. Unit 8311 19:00, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

  • It's called "Separatist Council" in almost every source. Other names are "Council of Separatists" or "Separatist Union". Although "CIS Council" would technically be more correct, we have to abide by canon - although, really, it would have to be "Confederacy of Independent Systems Council", which doesn't look right - \\Captain Kwenn// Ahoy! 19:07, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

Rune Haako Edit

Quote sourcing Edit

Does anybody know where is the quote from? Whoever knows it, please put in the source!--Domlith 18:01, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

leaders Edit

  • Twice someone has put three unamed Neimoidians into the leaders list and not the aides list, plus one isnt even in the CIS, who is doing this.TroybShadowFeed contribs50px 00:13, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

Lushros DofineEdit

He isn't on the Council, is he? He's just the captain of Invisible Hand, right? And if he is on the Council, he never even has a scene with Haako or Gunray so we cannot say that he's their aide. Lucius malfoy7 21:09, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

SidebarEdit

So why does the sidebar say Head of State: Head of State? The same with head of government. Why doesn't it say Head of State: Count Dooku. I would have changed it but wanted to know if there was a reason for the double wording. --Jaguartalon 05:27, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

Separatist Senate Edit

So what is the purpose of the Council now that TCW has introduced the Separatist Senate? Is there a contradiction? 82.33.117.158 23:15, November 22, 2010 (UTC)

       Most likely that it is a Secondary Government.--98.162.201.59 23:44, May 15, 2012 (UTC)Jordanbright

Other MembersEdit

It would seem to me that the Council is the Confederacy's executive branch--the Cabinet for Dooku--while the Separatist Parliament is the legislative. Thus, I think that Senators listed would actually in the Parliament. Po Nudo, on the other hand, is in charge of the Hyper-Communications Cartel...something akin to a Ministry, and is thus on the executive council. Tikkes might have a similar department. If--If--this is at least vaguely correct, I think that the Senators and other members not specifically stated to be on the Council should be in the Parliament, on the grounds that this article seems to be assuming that the Council is the legislative branch. 108.56.196.116 22:07, July 14, 2013 (UTC)

  • Do you have any sources for this? Supreme Emperor (talk) 00:03, July 15, 2013 (UTC)
    • Please note that any official connections need to be made by an official source. Lucasfilm Ltd. has yet to confirm the exact relationship between the Council and the Parliament. CC7567 (talk) 08:49, July 16, 2013 (UTC)
