Star Wars Galaxies[]
I played Star Wars Galaxies a long time ago, and I believe it was Shyriiwook that the Wookiees spoke. A player could also learn it to understand what the Wookiees were saying. —Unsigned comment by Brave Moonlight (talk • contribs).
- It most likely was. They're limited to Wookiee languages due to vocal structure. -Fnlayson 22:14, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
- you can make your character speak shryiiwook too but i think that's considered non-canon.
han solo: a speaker[]
I read somewhere (essential guide to characters??) that han solo was able to speak shryiiwook but didnt because he "sounded rediculous"
anyone know anything? PitchBrick 04:14, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
Actually, it was in The Paradise Snare it mentions that Han felt ridiculous trying to reproduce the growls and sound and that it made his throat hurt, "but understood it very well". I don't think he ever actually learned to speak it though. Korsa3 01:24, May 17, 2010 (UTC)
Etain Tur-Mukan: being atleast semi-fluent?[]
I was reading through Order 66 yesterday, and I noticed that Etain appeared to have atleast been able to understand what Enacca and the otheres where saying.
canon?[]
some of these sentences do not present a source, can we keep them here? Like "BRR" meaning "Hi friends". Where did that come from? Looks more like vandalism to me. --Xicufwm 04:20, January 14, 2011 (UTC)
- I have to agree that the "BRR" looks like vandalism as well. I think anything unsourced should be removed. Korsa3 04:29, January 14, 2011 (UTC)
Since I use this page a fair bit, as a pretty much fluent speaker of everything on this page, I'll be anal about removing non-referenced shit from this page, such as the BRR meaning "hi friends", which, along with some other stuff, was just taken from a google translate style thing, (same as the 'translate into ghetto speak' page, except for wookiee). —Unsigned comment by 101.166.6.153 (talk • contribs).
