Expansions Edit

The article does not state clearly whether the expansion "Defender of the Empire" is included in the Collector's CD-Rom. Anyone know for sure? I can't find my CD to check it right now.

Yes, I think so. MoffRebus 22:49, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Listing of warheads? Edit

Any opinions on whether they should be added to this article or not? For me at any rate they played a strong role in the strategy of the game, and the warheads unique to this game (advanced missles, advanced torps, heavy space rockets, heavy space bombs and the mag warheads) should be mentioned somewhere. --Anon80

  • Yup. I think for now their position in in the List of weapons. Since you remember the game better than me, check if everything is there. Maybe we could add the links here as well. MoffRebus 01:40, 28 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Secret Order TattoosEdit

Does anyone have screenshots of the Secret Order Tattoos you get in the game? -- Doo Doo talk Jabba'sDesilijicClanTattoo-SWFF 06:35, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

  • Good idea. I don't have the game finished right now. Anyone who has it? MoffRebus 18:08, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
    • I have a few of them, but only the later ones. Unfortunately, either I'm not correctly remembering how to take screenshots or my game isn't functioning properly. It was scroll lock, wasn't it?--GrandAdmiralJello 05:27, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
      • PRint screen, somehow above your page up button MoffRebus
        • Actually, that usually gets a color distorted image. I believe you have to use CTRL+O, or something similar. Dengar Antilles 16:35, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

POV textEdit

Isn't discussing how favourable the game's retouch was felt to be a little bit POV? Dengar Antilles 16:35, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

C-Canon? Edit

is the wohle story c-canon? - in X-Wing there are some mistakes: - ships ocure which aren't developed at this point of starwars-time - Tie-Fighter seems totally c-canon to me... 89.15.2.192 15:12, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Lucasarts games generally are c-canon no matter what the mistakes. MoffRebusMy Talk 13:45, May 18, 2010 (UTC)

Versions of the game Edit

Should we have screenshots from all three versions of the game, notably the floppy disk original, the collector's CD, and the 'TIE 95' edition, which currently appears to have a monopoly. It seems particularly daft to mention the improvements over X-Wing's graphics and use a 'TIE 95' screenshot to illustrate it. Lenzar 16:08, May 17, 2010 (UTC)

That would be welcome. MoffRebusMy Talk 13:45, May 18, 2010 (UTC)

Collector's CD-ROMEdit

Just fyi, this works perfectly under Windows XP SP3 without any special requirements, I know because I dug it out of a box and I'm playing it right now :) 92.4.20.108 14:40, September 27, 2010 (UTC)

T-wing Interceptor Edit

Does anyone know where the T-wing interceptor appears in this game? -- Frank V Bonura 03:03, September 23, 2014 (UTC)

Battles, not Tours of Duty Edit

In Tie Fighter the episodes are called Battles unlike in X-Wing where they were called Tours of Duty. 178.48.50.234 03:05, June 17, 2016 (UTC)
