Delay Time Between Putting Them on the Internet

Could we put the average time they go to CartoonNetwork.com after they've been on TV? --Matthew Bauer 03:30, May 1, 2010 (UTC)

Character section too big?

Is there any way that someone can maybe make it so that in the character section clones, unidentifieds and driods could be in sub categories or something and re-alphabetized. the reason why being that its way to big and confusing.Saesee tiin 22:18, September 20, 2010 (UTC)

  • and Boogie should not be in caracters.Saesee tiin 22:33, September 20, 2010 (UTC)
  • I have done A,B and C so far i will finish later.Saesee tiin 23:14, September 20, 2010 (UTC)
    • I've also been thinking the same. So this is my suggestion. Is it possible to change the character appearance list to something like this? It's starting to get very messy and with more episodes airing it will only get messier. I'm not very good at formating and such, so if someone with more experience knows a better way... Or if you think it looks just stupid, feel free to undo it. Comments are welcome :). Tellanroaeg 22:51, October 4, 2010 (UTC)
      • I think having a different section for unidentified chararcters is okay, but the clone and droid sections overlap too much with it. TheAinMAP 12:14, October 6, 2010 (UTC)
        • then have a section for unidentified clones in a list of clones section and same with driods.216.235.236.192 20:58, November 9, 2010 (UTC)
          • So i am going to, with your permission, re-alphabetatize the character section if thats OK so please permit it and i will get to it ASAP, thanks (and if someone wants to do it before i get to it please go ahead)76.1.132.79 21:14, July 14, 2012 (UTC)
            • No, don't. This conversation is two years old, and the appearances section is perfectly fine according to the Manual of Style and Layout Guide. Cade Calrayn StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit 21:18, July 14, 2012 (UTC)
              • But why? just because its fine by the rules doesn't mean it can't be improved upon! its a total mess and its really confusing trying to find a name the way it is now, i mean i think that us as a wikia can do way better then that! the only thing stopping it from looking better is lack of permission, you have some willing people who would gladly sort it for you yet we still aren't aloud to fix it? so i am asking you to reconsider and to allow me to sort it. 76.1.132.79 17:06, July 16, 2012 (UTC)
                • We don't do subcategories in appearances. And if you're complaining about the size of this article's appearance section, I'd invite you to look at the appearances section from The Old Republic. That'll have plenty more appearances than TCW. It doesn't need to be sorted, and they're fine as they are. Cade Calrayn StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit 17:26, July 16, 2012 (UTC)
                  • Sorry I didn't realize that i wasn't logged in but in reply, I guess i really didn't clarify i am not trying to change the format or anything i simply want the list of names to be alphabetized. Nothing to do with appearances or subcategories, simply re-sorting the list of names in the characters section and putting them back in alphabetical order, so please would that be okay?SHINJI-hirako95 (talk) 16:44, July 17, 2012 (UTC)
                    • The appearances section is alphabetized by last name, as is our policy here. Cade Calrayn StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit 16:49, July 17, 2012 (UTC)
    • Well, I guess i didn't realize that either. but okay, I guess you win. even though i still believe it could look better.SHINJI-hirako95 (talk) 17:00, July 17, 2012 (UTC)
      • Thanks for understanding. Yeah, I can see why it might seem to look better aesthetically to organize tem by first name, but as we're an encyclopedia, we try to be as professional as possible. But don't be discouraged, you had a legit point. Cade Calrayn StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit 18:28, July 17, 2012 (UTC)
        • Haha, thanks! I didn't expect that so thanks. 76.1.132.79 16:31, July 20, 2012 (UTC)

New Species

Sphere of Infulence showed both Gotal and Nimbanel in it. May someone add them in? User:Evil-Tree 16:08, October 3, 2010 (UTC)

Chronological timeline

I think it would be good to add Chronological order of the episodes because frankly, it is one big mess. Mainly the third season screews the order and it is veeery difficult to orient in the timeline. ScorpiO 17:35, October 23, 2010 (UTC)

So...err, will anyone be adding the chronological order? I can try, but I'm not that familiar with the whole thing, so I might screw up.. IP no. 59.95.169.10 06:16, December 4, 2010 (UTC)
  • We can't do that, because this written in-universe, and no timeline and dates for any event has been established by LucasArts. You could put them in order of which season and episode number, though. Laney97 18:31, January 15, 2011 (UTC)
  • The official order has been decreed by Leeland Chee and I've posted a section on it.--BrushYourTeeth (talk) 16:37, October 28, 2012 (UTC)
    • Please see Forum:SH:TCW Timeline 2012. CC7567 (talk) 16:37, October 28, 2012 (UTC)
      • Stang, that was naive of me. I knew the topic merited discussion, but I didn't realize it would have that much. I simply put the order of the episodes and movie in the Clone Wars section here because the topic is focused solely on the TV show and not the greater era at large (as it seems the Timeline discussion you pointed me to is). I do understand my contribution's deletion due to that, but if I was just showing the order of the show, what would be wrong with still having that? Or are the plans to include the entire era's timeline in all sections pertaining to the Clone Wars? No matter what, this is the first I've contributed to a Wiki and I'm sorry for jumping the gun--BrushYourTeeth (talk) 06:15, October 30, 2012 (UTC)

Well... can you tell why WHY a simple user, not part of this wiki or forum comunity, has to search this through a variety of different links, when one would just expect it to be EXACTLY right here, in this article... By the way... I visited this article for one single reason... to find chronological order of the episodes (because it is confusing to see someone being killed and few episodes later to be aliave again)... and the only thing I wanted and needed to find here... is not here... and in a discussion i found that exactly this thing was removed from the article... and as a reason there is a link to some forum... where are tons of textand no conclusion (and if it is there, I have no idea which from the severeaal timelines in there is the one)... so tell me how and where can a simple user like me find it... --82.150.179.78 14:23, May 3, 2015 (UTC)

Season Four

Should we put in a Season Four article? Because Season Four is coming up! --Yo, yo, yo! THIS IS OG LOC IN THE PLACE, BABY! 02:53, March 19, 2011 (UTC)

  • Seeing as season four hasn't even been mentioned by any official source yet, the best thing to do is wait.Korsa3 12:41, March 19, 2011 (UTC)
    • It has now been mentioned by the Starwars webpage, which i believe is a official source. You can also read about the release date and what to expect.--CC-1990 14:56, August 24, 2011 (UTC)

Redirect

I got redirected to this page from "Star Wars 3D". I was actually trying to find Star Wars 3-D, which is a tad more appropriate. Can the re-direct be fixed? Thanks! Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith -Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 17:53, May 2, 2011 (UTC)

Story Arc guide

Since the show tends to run with loose with the story arcs placement (spread throughout and/or across seasons), I think there should be a story arc guide somewhere. Not necessarily on this page, but possibly. Anyone care to comment? --WTRiker 17:30, August 18, 2011 (UTC)

  • An unofficial guide has been created here. As far as the main series articles go, story arcs would be best described in the season articles if they were ever expanded as such, but we'll see. CC7567 (talk) 19:06, August 18, 2011 (UTC)

Number of episodes

Shouldn't it be 66 aired episodes if there have been 3 season with 22 episodes each? Unsigned comment by JackSlade (talk • contribs).

  • Yes, that's technically correct, but I believe it was adjusted to 70 because the film was made from four more episodes and was counted as such in the series article. CC7567 (talk) 04:20, August 27, 2011 (UTC)
    • AND doesn't the film count as a separate media, not part of show... What happens in pre and post-production of the Show can not be counted as separate media just cause originally there were going to be episodes, not a film! --Dangrievous 19:37, September 7, 2011 (UTC)
      • The film was originally four separate episodes; the film itself is comprised of those four episodes and only are shoved together to make that film. CC above and Dangerdan, the one who originally adjusted the episode numbers, are correct. We should just leave this alone since it's not a problem. JangFett (Talk) 19:49, September 7, 2011 (UTC)
        • Still it sounds silly to count as episodes the motion picture that has always aired and has been shown every time as single picture and never cut into parts. I agree it was said that was originally episodes, but they were never shown in that way - standing on their own! But if the leaders say its so, OK to the 70 episodes!--Dangrievous 19:55, September 7, 2011 (UTC)
          • It's important within the context of the "100 episodes" prediction made during pre-production, prior to the decision to synthesize the movie out of episodes. At this point it's not necessarily clear that they are going to stop at 100, but so long as we reference that potential total, we need to count the movie as its constituent episodes. DD97Which bear is best? 15:51, September 8, 2011 (UTC)

Webcomic

Where the heck are the webcomics for Season Four? Seriously, no one seems to have noticed. Are they no longer making webcomics, because honestly that would pretty surprising. Unsigned comment by 76.30.157.138 (talk • contribs).

  • It appears that they've ceased the webcomic program. The new Star Wars site doesn't even show the old ones. CC7567 (talk) 22:30, October 8, 2011 (UTC)

Australian broadcast

The article still says that the show airs on channel Ten in Australia, and while I think that was true for most or all of the first season, it has been airing on ABC3 for some time now (we are up to season 3, I think). I would change it, but as my signature indicates, I am not registered and thus cannot edit since the article is locked. That's probably for the best, as I never could properly work wiki citations. Anyway, if a source is needed, ABC has an official website, and ABC3 has a minisite for Clone Wars: abc.net.au/abc3/clonewars/ or there's a show information section for each season: abc.net.au/abc3/shows/11058.htm (apparently my contributions are so few that I can't even add URLs. *Sigh*, I should really register....) 110.175.156.16 10:20, October 24, 2011 (UTC)

Moral vs Epigraph

Would the word "Epigraph" be more appropriate than the word "Moral" at the beginning of each episodes article?--Masterbmw 04:47, February 20, 2012 (UTC)

cast issue

uh, i've noticed that in the cast section, the cast is shown as such:

Chewbacca as Himself

I see a slight issue here. Swordsquirrel 10:42, April 2, 2012 (UTC)

  • Please elaborate on your perceived issue. Be aware, as no actor portrays Chewbacca's voice, he is traditionally credited "as himself" in works that only feature his "voice" (as is also the case with R2-D2). DD97Which bear is best? 13:23, April 2, 2012 (UTC)
    • Is his voice computerized? If so it may be worth noting in parentheses.--Masterbmw 13:56, April 2, 2012 (UTC)

Leaving CN

This needs to be taken into consideration. --Darth R2-D2, Dark Lord of the Droids (talk) 20:50, January 29, 2013 (UTC)

It's leaving CN since the show is getting cancelled, sadly. :( Weerwooff (talk) 13:28, March 12, 2013 (UTC)

Is there any proof for that? Gulomi Jomesh (talk) 13:46, March 12, 2013 (UTC)
When CN announced their fall programming a couple months ago, TCW wasn't on it. And then yesterday on starwars.com it was announced that they were no longer producing episodes for CN. So it is "leaving" CN, in a way. It's just not going anywhere else (yet). — DigiFluid(Whine here) 14:00, March 12, 2013 (UTC)

Tim Curry

Season Five

Season Five was advertised under the Sub-title "Army of Revenge", should this not be on the table with the others? Matt Seay (talk) 15:13, March 12, 2014 (UTC)

  • That title isn't from any official sources, and it was never marketed as such. CC7567 (talk) 15:17, March 12, 2014 (UTC)

I could have sworn I saw a commercial with that title, oh well, I will admit when I am wrong.....if there is no proof then I will leave this alone.... Matt Seay (talk) 15:18, March 12, 2014 (UTC)

Split Canon and Legends

So are we going to split the appearance in each episode in Legends and Canon appearances like it is in the 'Star Wars Episode I' article?

Update episode pictures

With the update to StarWars.com a while back, all of the episode guide pictures were updated as well, with a small amount receiving new pictures and all of them being cropped down some. You can see the difference in the links below:

Old picture

New picture

As such, should we update the pictures for each episode with the new ones? Cevan (talk) 17:18, July 20, 2015 (UTC)

  • The articles should favor the full-screen pictures instead of the newly cropped ones, so there's no reason to change the episode guide pictures. CC7567 (talk) 19:21, July 20, 2015 (UTC)

Air Dates

Does Dark Disciple count as an "episode" of Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Legacy? The "Bad Batch" arc was clearly counted as an "air date" of the season. So wouldn't we include Dark Disciple as an episode of the season, meaning that the page needs to be edited to say that the final air date of Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Legacy was July 7, 2015 (DD's release date)?Unsigned comment by The Ultimate Dude (talk • contribs).

so... Unfinished season 7

So after they stopped the show and left unfinished season 7 to rust, should the events happened in unfinished episodes count as canon? Unsigned comment by 184.57.126.86 (talk • contribs).

  • For the purposes of this wiki and based on statements that have been made from official Star Wars sources, yes, we do count it as canon if it has been released in some form - basically, any of the material that makes up what is known as The Clone Wars Legacy. ProfessorTofty (talk) 04:39, December 23, 2015 (UTC)

Tom Bergeron

I am having difficulty deciding whether the Good Morning America segment with Tom Bergeron's visit to Lucasfilm and Skywalker ranch should be mentioned in marketing or production. This took place just before the TCW movie was about to be released, and in the segment, Tom got his face 3D scanned and put on a officer model, and he even got a name from Lucas. The Clone Wars in the legends

Why is it still there? That's two total different things! Examples:

VENTRESS' HOMEPLANET

-Legends = Rattatak

-Canon/The Clone Wars = Dathomir

DEATH OF ADI GALLIA

-Legends = Killed by Grievous

-Canon/The Clone Wars = Killed by Savage Opress

It not belongs there at all!

  • TCW is considered to the legends continuity, giving priority to things that happened in series that's why Adi Gallia's death in both legends and canon is by Savage--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 20:09, June 15, 2017 (UTC)
Speaking of legends, I personally would've loved it if they included some of the legend-verse vehicles; in Water War they should've used the Amphibious Interstellar Assault Transport/infantry, the Amphibious fighter, the Ocean Troop Transport, the Trade Federation submarine, and the Repulsor-equipped submersible carrier. I would've also liked it if they had the Gunship Bomber (maybe for The Zillo Beast), the Gunship fighter, the H-60 Tempest bomber, the Jedi bomber, the Mankvim-814 light interceptor, the CloakShape fighter, the Alderaanian War Frigate, the Giga-class transport, the Barloz-class medium freighter, the Sprint-class rescue craft, the MedStar-class frigate, the Dreadnaught-class heavy cruiser (mainly on the separatist side), the Decimator, the A5-RX battle tank, the All Terrain Personal Transport, the PTB-625 planetary bomber, the HAVw A5 Juggernaut, the Variable Altitude Assault Transport/enforcement (mainly for the episodes Sabotage and The Jedi Who Knew Too Much), the Clone Personal Walker (also for The Jedi Who Knew Too Much), the Heavy Artillery Gun (mainly due to being a precursor to the defoliator tank), the Armored Scout Tank (for the Onderon episodes), the Fantail-class destroyer, the Sabaoth destroyer, the Sabaoth Frigate, the Pursuer-class enforcement ship (mainly in the season-2 mandalorian episodes), the Lupus-class missile frigate, the Trade Federation Superfreighter, the Sabaoth starfighter (though it almost did in Dooku Captured), the Sabaoth Defender, the Ball Gun, the Neimoidian trader (for Liberty on Ryloth), the Trade Federation Dropship, the Multi-Utility Transport, the GAT-12 Skipray Blastboat, the Sith Enforcer and the Cutlass-9 patrol fighter.184.186.4.209 17:17, August 22, 2017 (UTC)
