Clone WarsEdit

This is not actually happening. He was talking about "second series" in the European sense of the term, where it's used the same way "season" is used in the US. 06:10, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

  • ", now, we're able to, with Clone Wars, and a live-action show I'm working on, and another animated show I'm working on, we're able to explore different avenues of Star Wars..." -George Lucas, from the referenced interview (emphasis mine). Your interpretation doesn't seem to have any relation to what Lucas actually said. Dangerdan97 06:31, November 25, 2009 (UTC)

This should really be deleted Edit

This show hasn't been referenced anywhere other than that video. This article should be deleted until another, more concrete source identifies it other than George Lucas being put on the spot Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

That's no clear reason for it to be deleted. George Lucas said it himself, thus it will either come to be or not. This article will either way prove to be a source of information, even if the series wouldn't come to pass. --Tetsu Aero 20:59, January 28, 2010 (UTC)

'Squishies' Edit

Should we add the info from into a rumors section for this article, it isn't confirmed but it adds some meat to the otherwise black article. Unsigned comment by JamieJ (talk • contribs).

emporer Edit

hasn't anyone noticed that they spelt emperor wrong? i would change it but i dont know how and i dont want to get it wrong... Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

April fools Edit

April fools anyone? Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

will it be canon? ASDF1239Chiss Ascendancy-DISCUSSION- 03:30, May 6, 2010 (UTC)

Post-RotJ?? Edit

While Green said... "Timeline... I don't think anybody is really talking about that yet. But it's not post-['Return of the Jedi']." :S MTV Blog --KSK (Discussion) 10:52, June 13, 2010 (UTC)

Working Title: "Star Wars: Detours" Edit

In the Launchpad section of Star Wars Insider 130 (106 in the UK) where it reviews 2011, it mentions in the June section,

"Talking to CNN, George Lucas gave the working title of the new animated Star Wars comedy series: Star Wars: Detours."

Like what has been done on the page for Star Wars: Underworld, I think that this page should be renamed Star Wars: Detours and the fact that it is a "working title" be mentioned in the page's opening paragraph. --Evilyoda 23:11, February 27, 2012 (UTC)

canon??? Edit

Will this be canon? It doesnt appear that it will be, it appears that it will be a tongue in cheek self parody like early star wars tale. Probably inspired by the family guy and robot chicken speciels if i had to guess ralok (talk) 14:29, August 30, 2012 (UTC)

  • Ralok, you've been warned about this before. Please adhere to the {{Talkheader}} template. Thanks, JangFett (Talk) 15:01, August 30, 2012 (UTC)
  • In the interests of relevance, it appears Detours is getting it's own dedicated level of canon in the holocron, D-canon, that is removed from all the others, sort of an N-canon that is internally consistent. That should be worth adding to the article (and the canon page) if someone can get a source. DD97Which bear is best? 15:42, August 30, 2012 (UTC)
Is there somewhere here this can be talked about??? Because talk pages arent meant for this type of discussion. ralok (talk) 15:57, August 30, 2012 (UTC)

Just a thought on how it should be handled, it should be handled on this wiki the same way as lego star wars. A somehwat comedic, alternate look at the series. ralok (talk) 18:44, August 30, 2012 (UTC)

  • There are a myriad of Star Wars forums on which you can converse with other fans about Star Wars. Wookieepedia itself is not a forum. Google "Star Wars forum." NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 04:27, August 31, 2012 (UTC)

I believe there was an article saying aspects would be added to the LFL Holocron, where they do not conflict with existing canon (character names etc.). So this labelling of any SW:D related material as "Non-canon" is not wise until we know the distinctions being made. BoldlyWent (talk) 13:05, October 5, 2012 (UTC)

  • Naru, the discussion about how Wookieepedia should treat this show is directly pertinent to this page, so I don't see it as using Wookieepedia as a forum. Just my 2 creds. ~SavageBOB sig 13:10, October 5, 2012 (UTC)
  • Adding to this, Leland's tweet from August 24 only says "Newest level of canon added to the Holocron: D Detours canon." Sadly, I still haven't found the other statement about adding select items to the LFL Holocron. No statements about if D canon is the same as N canon, either. BoldlyWent (talk) 15:33, October 5, 2012 (UTC)
    • EDIT: Apparently, this was mentioned on the Filoni/Hidalgo panel at Celebration VI. From blackmyron at the old temp TFN board: "the show is going to be it's "own separate universe", but (much like, say, the non-canon Tales) elements of it, like the names of characters that haven't been named elsewhere (for instance) would still be recorded and possibly become canon in the overall continuity." Wonder if there's a Youtube clip or a transcript of that. BoldlyWent (talk) 15:50, October 5, 2012 (UTC)

so basically . . . it is the same thing as lego star wars and star wars tales, aa comedic reinterpretation of the star wars universe. GOT IT ralok (talk) 22:31, October 30, 2012 (UTC)

Legends non-canon or Canon non-canon? Edit

Given that this hasn't yet been released, should it be classified under the Legends banner or Canon banner? Adamwankenobi (talk) 16:36, June 26, 2014 (UTC)

  • It's entirely non-canon, so why should it be classed under either canon category at all? — DigiFluid(Whine here) 16:41, June 26, 2014 (UTC)
    • It's also never been released, so until then it's technically nothing. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 16:56, June 26, 2014 (UTC)

CadeCalryn has reverted my attempt at rectifying this. Adamwankenobi (talk) 02:32, July 13, 2014 (UTC)

  • That wasn't rectifying. The non-canon articles category should not be manually added; the template stays on the page, and a parameter used to change the category. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 02:41, July 13, 2014 (UTC)
    • That template is for non-canon Legends content only. At the moment, there is no template for non-canon Canon content, which is why I manually placed the category on this article. Adamwankenobi (talk) 02:55, July 13, 2014 (UTC)
      • That's not correct. Note how Cade has used the template (in what's presumably a recent edit, hence what you're saying): {{Noncanon|canon=1}}. That removes the Legends link. The canon=1 tells the template to refer to canon rather than Legends. Note that the text currently says "This article covers a subject that was published under the Infinities label or that Lucasfilm otherwise declared to be non-canon in the new canon continuity." - Brandon Rhea(talk) 02:57, July 13, 2014 (UTC)
        • I wasn't aware of that parameter. However, that still doesn't mean that non-canon Canon material shouldn't have its own designated template. Adamwankenobi (talk) 03:01, July 13, 2014 (UTC)
          • There's absolutely no reason for us to have two templates when one can and does suffice just fine. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 03:02, July 13, 2014 (UTC)

Trailer? Edit

Should information from this trailer be used? I'm not sure if it's official.
