Crew Requirements[]

  • I haven't finished Force Commander and I haven't played Galactic Battlegrounds, but from what I've seen in Force Commander they do not mention the crew requirements. Someone who's played through Galactic Battlegrounds can confirm or deny this number. User:Tony Knightcrawer 22:45, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
    • The information is not from either game. I think there is a internet sight that has a bunch of descriptions of vehicles. The site is un-reliable and obviously inaccurate. (- -) 14:38, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, right[]

I don't have Force Commander. Can this thing actually fight AT-ATs? -MPK 18:14, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

  • Haven't played the game either, but I've played a mod for a different game where someone claimed to have given it the equivelant stats as in Force Commander. If their stats are as accurately translated as they claim they are, here's how it works: they can't take on an AT-AT head on - practically nothing can, it's what the AT-AT was designed for. But if they can sneak in behind and get in a few free shots while the AT-AT is turning around to face them, then yes, they can definitely beat it. I honestly don't know if that translates accurately to Force Commander, but I would imagine it works similarly at least.84.84.207.58 19:51, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
    • I have played it, but not in a long time and only the Empire half unfortunately. Yeah, head-on the AT-AT will win. But if you can outmaneuver it you can have the advantage. Also, I don't quite remember if you could do this in the game or not, but the turret has a full 360 degree range of fire. So the T-3B can be constantly moving out of the AT-AT's range of fire while it is itself firing. So one-on-one it might not be fair for the AT-AT, but in a group the dynamics of that maneuver would no longer work against an able general. But what I do remember is that their proton torpedo launchers give them quite a long-range punch. In Force Commander, these torpedoes can travel pretty far and over mountainous terrain while lasers can't. There is one important thing to note, though. In Force Commander, the AT-AT has a special ability called "Maximum Firepower" that does massive damage in a single shot. It can destroy a T-3B in one hit and hits pretty much instantly if in the range of fire. So if we're counting the T-3B's long-range proton torpedo ability, we should count the AT-AT's medium/short range "maximum firepower" ability. Tony Knightcrawer 10:55, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Shields?[]

In the 2000 game Force Commander this thing originally was shielded. Since then, somenow the shields seem to have been lost to history. Anybody have some more info on that? 190.100.175.35 20:09, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
