Brain removalEdit

someone said her brain was removed by B'omarr monks and later put back. There is no mention of this in the article. I don't know the facts or I'd do it myself.--DannyBoy7783 12:43, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

  • Well, I'm no neurosurgeon, but wouldn't that kill the body? -- SFH 14:16, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
    • I've only read the first GOF book, so I don't know for sure if that's true or not, but the 7th book does appear to feature B'omarr Monks. -- Ozzel 22:29, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
      • Dudes its true i have read the brain spiders! And Dannyman I told ya that! --Kowakian 1

        • As I said, I'm not going to take the word of an annoying anon. Cite me some information and maybe I'll believe you...though now you are really getting on my nerves so I doubt it. Stop moving this discussion to my talk page. --DannyBoy7783 05:57, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
          • Star Wars Timeline Gold's plot summary for Galaxy of Fear: The Brain Spiders backs Kowakian up on this. Sounds like a very silly series of books....—Silly Dan (talk) 15:57, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
            • It's been a long time since I read that book, and I don't remember details like how long it was since the removal until her brother and uncle recovered her body and took measures to preserve it until her brain could be re-implanted, or if someone else had started before, but I can confirm it happened. • The series isn't THAT silly. It would have been fine if Luke and crew and Vader weren't in them, those scenes disrupt the canon a little bit. 12:10, May 6, 2011 (UTC)

The last two sentences of this article are speculation. The Abel Peña's article states they "went on to become great Jedi in their own right." No where is it ever stated that they attended the Praxeum, and it certianly says nothing of their survival, or even involvement in the Yuuzhan Vong war. • Like Zak's this has now been changed =] Jedi Dude 20:12, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
    • Apparently, someone disagrees and re-added that. I have removed it. 23:35, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
      • Considering they had crossed paths with Luke in some of the books, and knew they were Force-sensitive, and how hard he was looking for potential Jedi when he founded the Academy, I think it's very likely that if they didn't get to be among of the first 12 students, at least they were among the first he tried to contact and invite.
