I started working on adding the systems in the appendix into the wiki. So far, I made it up to Alderaan. I've come across a couple things that I wanted to discuss before making changes myself. The appendix has an Aargau system, wiki has a Zug system. Appendix has Adamstor system, wiki has Abraxus system. Appendix has Adner system, wiki has Metsys system. Appendix has Adumar system, wiki has Katorrs system. Aeten is said to be in the Outer Rim here, but the atlas has Wild Space. Appendix has a Agamar, wiki has Mirgoshir (with an aka thing). Agash is Inner Rim here, Atlas says Expansion Regions. Appendix has Aiquin, wiki has Aiquin 4. Appendix has Alakatha system, only Alakatha in the wiki is a moon in the K'vath system. Atlas says Alba is in the Outer Rim and wiki says Mid Rim. Lastly, so far is that it says Alderaan had a moon when the page here says it did not. Suikoman444 01:40, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

  • On different occasions, Jason Fry has stated that often the Appendix names go by the most prominent planet rather than a more obscure established name. Here, he says "Having a single entry for each system in the Appendix definitely makes some things difficult to find, particularly since determining which name to use was more art than science." Consequently, the way I would handle it on the Wook is that where there is an alternative system name, this should be the location of the article, with the casual or popular name from the Appendix being a redirect to this other name. E.g., have the "Moltok system" redirect to the Dartibek system. --Eyrezer 23:08, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
    • Sounds good to me. Wanted a second opinion before I happened to accidentally screw something up. Suikoman444 03:41, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

Canon PolicyEdit

Am I correct in assuming that the atlas overrides other source's canon figures? Noticed a few subtle differences, mainly sources differing on the diameter or days in a year. Axims 08:03, September 3, 2009 (UTC)

Date Representations? Edit

This might be a stupid question but I can't figure out how the dates are being represented in the Atlas. For example there's "41:9:3". What's that supposed to represent? I'm assuming the 41 is the year so is that 41 ABY? Any help would be appreciated. Woodandiron 06:00, September 15, 2009 (UTC)

Images Edit

Quick request for anyone that can comply with it; there is a picture of a Corporate Sectory Authority Espos taking a Triani away on page 153 I think and another shot of two Ssi-ruuvi warriros in 160ish. Can anyone take scans of this? The Espo article could use the nice shot in The Essential Atlas and the Ssi-ruuvi one looks good for its own article as well. Darth Batrus 14:12, March 11, 2011 (UTC)

maps and systems Edit

Hey guys, where do you know that the maps only show systems? I fear I missed the information, or does it stand somewhere else and not in the book?

  • They don't show systems. The systems and respective coordinates appear in the end of the book. So you can see what happened in the respective map grid, and assume that. Winterz (talk) 14:09, December 27, 2012 (UTC)

add information about the galactic imperial atrocities Edit

somebody had told me that this book mentions and that it lists a bunch of evil things that the galactic empire tolitarian regimine had commmited/done. how about why not list some of those imperial regime atrocities right here? Editing this article to include all of that kinda of information stuff that way would make the article much more detailed. Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

  • This article is a stub, it needs to be expanded yes. However if you're looking for these atrocities' articles, go to the Appearances section and in "Events", you will find some if not all articles there. Winterz (talk) 15:28, December 27, 2012 (UTC)

Dromund Kaas Edit

On page 127 it, as with most sources, says that the Sith Emperor fled to the Unknown Regions, with SWTOR and it's Galactic Timeline stating that he settled on Dromund Kaas, however the atlas places Kaas not too far from Korriban. Could this be considered a contradiction? --Thecrazyweirdo (talk) 01:02, June 11, 2014 (UTC)

  • Sort of, but not really. Sith Space was still the Unknown Regions by that time; in fact, by 5000 BBY, only Korriban (and maybe one or two other worlds) in the Stygian Caldera had been located by the Republic. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 01:05, June 11, 2014 (UTC)
