Grand MoffEdit

Since his rank plaque matches, can we assume he is a Grand Moff? - AV-6R7User talk:AV-6R7 08:47, June 5, 2015 (UTC)

  • I'm afraid not yet: recall that many Imperial officers in Return of the Jedi had identical rank badges but clearly different ranks. —Silly Dan (talk) 19:08, June 5, 2015 (UTC)
    • It may be wise to try and get in contact with Kabam and/or StarWars.com through Twitter or email to find out if he really is a Grand Moff or not. Cevan (talk) 19:12, June 5, 2015 (UTC)
      • Grand Moff Tarkin was referred to as Governor Tarkin multiple time in ANH. It would probably fit. - AV-6R7User talk:AV-6R7 20:37, June 5, 2015 (UTC)
        • Indeed. The only thing I can chalk up to Adelhard not being a Grand Moff is that he's only the governor of one sector, whereas Tarkin wast the governor of an entire region. It's possible Adelhard was just promoted to Grand Moff following the Emperor's demise and is trying to get things squared away first in the Anoat sector, which he was formerly just the governor of. Still, might be better to try and receive official word regarding wether or not he's Grand Moff. Cevan (talk) 20:43, June 5, 2015 (UTC)
          • We wait then. - AV-6R7User talk:AV-6R7 20:49, June 5, 2015 (UTC)
            • Or you could, you know, calm down and wait for the actual game to come out. There is no rush, and no reason to bother anyone - particularly when they probably won't answer or just don't care. Cade StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 20:51, June 5, 2015 (UTC)
              • If I'm not mistaken, Moff = sector governor, right? So technically speaking, he would have been a Moff previously, yes? Reddyredcp (talk) 22:54, September 24, 2015 (UTC)

Approval or removel?Edit

In the bottom of the article, I did once added this text:

""""Despite been a canon only character, he actually have an legends counterpart (at least in job) by the name of governor Hugo Treece. Governor Treece didn't lock down the planet. But he did take control over the government of Bespin (for imperial rule). Just like Governor Adelhard."""

The purpose of the text, was to build a bridge between Canon and the greater world of star wars. For some reason have TWO wiki editders classified this as speculation. I am simply trying to add a fact. I could also describe as an comparison between two characters that has the same job. Which is written by two different writers. It have also been called quality low text. But I have no problems with someone that simply want to fix an misspelling. Am I out of my mind? Or should this be in? • No, you're just being over-emotional about your edit. The link between the characters is weak, and you are providing no sources to backup your claims.—Tommy-Macaroni Imperial Emblem (TAKE A SEAT) 19:33, February 20, 2018 (UTC)
    • We don't need sources comparing two characters if the similarities between two characters are strong enough to warrant mentioning. Kylo Ren is an example of that. However, I think in this case the two characters aren't similar enough. Adelhard was the governor of the entire Anoat sector and, as such, was a high-ranking Imperial official. Hugo Treece looks to be just a governor of Bespin, which means just the leader of Cloud City. He effectively seems like a stooge that Vader left behind for the occupation. Although there's some minor similarities, it's not worth mentioning IMO. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 19:55, February 20, 2018 (UTC)
