Walk the other way?Edit

Isn't it possible to get Visas to fall for you even if you're playing a female? I've never tried it, but that's what I've heard... Kuralyov 05:31, 22 Jul 2005 (UTC)

I couldn't. For a female character, romance options are Atton and Disciple. - Sikon 06:25, 22 Jul 2005 (UTC)
  • Yes, it is possible. I played with a male, became a sith, and Visas fell for me :) ----Inmobilus 16:20, 10 Jan 2006 (UTC)

Another imageEdit

Well, I'm planning to replace that image from a pre-release version with a screenshot from the final game, but... I wonder if this image can be used in addition to the main one.

http://sikonfiles.gorodok.net/visas.jpg

It's from the comic Star Wars Tales #24, I'm not sure if it's legal to use it (my opinion is, who cares, but you certainly won't agree). This comic is, as far as I know, the only source of an image of Visas without the veil, so... - Sikon 12:44, 23 Jul 2005 (UTC)

  • Go for it, I say. Kuralyov 14:48, 29 Jul 2005 (UTC)
    • Two tentacles up from me --Imp 14:52, 29 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Yet another one (both posted by a member of forums.obsidianent.com), here. Although it's probably redundant, as it adds more to the image of a harsh villainess instead of the cute princess with a charming voice that she really is. :) (I'd prefer that screenshot with a lightsaber to look less aggressive...) - Sikon 17:11, 29 Jul 2005 (UTC)

I like it... I've wondered what lay beneath the veil... I do like this picture, but is it "official?" Kath.Hound 6:08 6 June 2007

What did he do?Edit

What exactly did Nihilus do to Visas? What is the point of cutting out the skin of the eye sockets? ----Inmobilus 16:20, 10 Jan 2006 (UTC)

  • When dealing with obscure KOTOR questions, the most probable answer is "unknown". There was a discussion on the Obsidian forums, but it was somewhat inconclusive. - Sikon [Talk] 18:36, 10 Jan 2006 (UTC)

A Miraluka has no natural sight. She can only see via the Force Erainor 02:23, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

  • Just wondering (haven't finished KOTOR2 yet): Is there a chance in the game to see Visas without her head cap? Did the devs gave her 3D model eye sockets or is there nothing in that place? --Sys2074 02:42, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Nope. She keeps her veil on for the entire game (thankfully...) --RedemptionRedemptionusersymbolTalk 02:52, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
      • The veil is part of her head model and can't be taken off by any means, including third-party tools. - Sikon 06:25, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
  • Thanks for the info! ... A pity! ;) --Sys2074 14:06, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

Cut content speculation Edit

Apart from that section being badly wookified, do we really need it? - Sikon [Talk] 18:08, 7 March 2006 (UTC)

  • I think so. It's interesting to see what was proposed/cut, and we have it for other articles. Kuralyov 18:11, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
    • So much cut content...what a waste.Bredd13 21:18, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

Birthdate Edit

  • Is that a definite birthdate in the infobox? I noticed it's the same date as the start of the Mandalorian Wars and the same birthdate as Handmaiden's.--Jedimasterbob 23:43, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
    • No source? If there isn't any source then it's gotta go. --RedemptionRedemptionusersymbolTalk 01:37, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

Last Miraluka? Edit

As said in KotOR 2 by Kreia, she calls Visas Marr the "last of her kind" so meaning last of the Miraluka, BUT Jerec from the Dark Forces series is said to be one as well so in other words what i'm trying to get at is, how is Jerec something that died out thousands of years ago? Ivor 01:20, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

  • Visas Marr is not the last Miraluka. There's thousands still on Alpheridies. QuentinGeorge 01:35, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
    • Visas was the last Miraluka on Katarr. Darth Kevinmhk 03:20, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
  • ah I see, thank you Ivor 23:28, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

Her sacrifice is not a cut content Edit

I remember being able to have her killed in the fight against Nihilus. I think you can only do that if you're a dark side character. But I definitely remember doing it. I chose the dialogue option below the "you are the link to this place [...]" option and somehow ended up killing Visas. - TopAce 17:01, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

  • Um. The article doesn't state that it was cut. It states that it's commonly thought to be cut but wasn't. --RedemptionTalk Uglykotoricon 17:04, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

Stern devotion to the light sideEdit

I know canonically the exile was a l-sider, but remember that Visas senses you when you start going to the dark side as well. Since there has has not been a canonical statement to prove exactly how visas sensed her, i'm going to try to make the statement ambiguous. since we don't know whether every single decision the exile made brought her closer to either side, just that she decided to make the major light side decisions, (e.g. gets Mira, destroys Malachor) I think that this is a fair statement until there is canonical proof the exile did every light decision in the game. If you have a problem with this, please respond and i will do my best to see your point of view. 65.43.231.150

I also removed the line that said she joined the Exile on Malachor. I am pretty sure that no companions join you except for Mira, G0-T0, and the remote, and that this was cut content that is not canonical. Again, if you have proof i am wrong, i will gladly listen to your side of the story and revert the incorrect changes. 65.43.231.150

Infobox issue Edit

can someone change the infobox from Sith to Jedi or Republic? since that is her most recent affiliation? 74.244.187.222 00:48, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

  • Since when has Visas been canonically a Jedi? Or affiliated with the Republic for that matter? - Sikon 06:24, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

Not a Sith Lord Edit

Unless I'm missing some vital evidence, Visas was never mentioned to hold the title. So whoever keeps adding the category "Sith Lords of Revan's Sith Empire" to her should stop.Gorthuar 22:35, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

  • She is, however, given the title of Sith apprentice in the Saga Edition Core Rulebook by WotC...so she should be in the "Sith acolytes and apprentices" category. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 23:03, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
    • She is Sith but she did not belong to class of Sith known as lords... If I remember correctly her "class" was "Jedi Guardian." I'm most likely wrong, and she might not have been given the "Sith Lord" class to give more importance to the Exile should she follow that path... -Kath.Hound 15:25, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

Black hair?Edit

Why does it say that Visas has black hair? I don't seem to remember seeing any of her hair in the game. -TrandoshanMan01 11:29, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Conisdering that the comic was in black and white, and Visas never takes the hood off in-game, "dark" is the current best choice. Destroyer Droid 03:54, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Sith Name Edit

Does anyone know Visas' sith name? Did she get one? Maxi6 00:31, 6 December 2007 (UTC)Maxi6

  • She didn't. She was more of slave then an actual apprentice. --RedemptionRedemptionusersymbol(Talk) 00:32, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

Do you think that Nihilus ever intended to make her a real sith, and maybe continue the triumvirate (Nihilus,Visas, and Sion)?Maxi6 12:20, 8 December 2007 (UTC)Maxi6

  • She was apprenticed to the Dark Lord of the Sith himself and Kreia just called her a Sith since she talked with the Exile about her on the Ebon Hawk. Remember that one? 72.209.10.107 16:35, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Sourcing Edit

This article is is desperate need of sourcing. I'll get to work on it as soon as possible.--Jedi Kasra 17:11, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Light Master Edit

Recently, I started playing Knights of the Old Republic II again, after not playing it for almost two years. My character was a Light Master before I ever met Visas Marr, and when she joined my party, she, too, was a Light Master, although it didn't note it on her character's screen. Her Force indicator, I'll call it, is all the way at the top of the spectrum, where mine is, and I'm a Light Master, so I'm assuming it's safe to call her one, too. It doesn't seem to affect her in any way, because all of her dialogue is still the same. Is this a bug, or was it meant to happen if you're a Light Master before getting Visas? Willstar 18:15, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

  • A light master is game mechanics as it is just how much inflence you have with the character. Visas gets a lot of influence points early on if you spare her and she is one of the easiest people to gain influence with in the story. Therefore no, it doesn't matter in the article. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 12:49, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

Does she join the Jedi Order? Edit

Does Visas Marr join the recreated Jedi Order with the Jedi Exile's other companions? --Bron Hañda 18:24, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

  • I would bet my money on yes, and I have a logical reason to believe this. Kreia called all the Force-sensitives traveling with the Exile the "Lost Jedi" who would go on to re-found the Jedi Order. It's even written in the article. Cjh37 09:25, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Dark side future Edit

Does anyone know what Traya says about Visas' future if she is darksided? I always kill her if I am DS, so I can't ask Traya about her. I only let her live if I am LS.

Is it okay for her to play a big role as your companion? Edit

The last time I played KOTOR II I went darks side and she joined me. I was unaware you could sacrifice her, but anyways I beat the game with her on Malachor V and we ended up being 'lovers'. Now I'm playing the game going on lightside. I've been putting in a lot of thought before every action.. AKA no dark side points awarded at all (and when i do I just re load the game and do the dialogue over again.) Also my jedi consular has reached the very peak of his light meter before I finished the first planet after telos (or before I met visa meditating on my ship). Anyways, my question is should I still allow her to be in my party? Because last time she was a sith (or dark points on the meter thing) But no it shows that she's sort of light. I cant imagine her going from sith lord apprentice all the way to light with one dialogue. Is the game trying to trick me or is she actually capable of joining light side? I ask because she's easily my favorite character. I also assumed that the handmaiden would fall in love with you if you are light side and that Visa is meant to be the antagonist of that so to speak. As in she'll fall in love with you if you're on the dark side. Bottom line is, since both handmaiden and visa are the strongest warriors in your party which one should I put more focus on if I'm L-side oriented?

Thanks

This talk page is for discussion having to do with the article to the its subject GTQ(Problems?) 01:06, June 24, 2011 (UTC)

Yes. Even if you are lightside, she will still join you. And she is one of the few Force users you get that's a Jedi all the way. Make her focus on powers like healing and Force Wave. She becomes one of the best backups in the game. Visas + Handmaiden/Diciple or Visas + Atton is a hard to beat backup. Set her up primarily as ranged, but take a few lightsaber feats for where range is a hindrance. FMPhoenixHawk 22:32, June 24, 2011 (UTC)

Again check the talk page header If I am not clear. this page is for talk relating to the article not it's subject. GTQ(Problems?) 22:34, June 24, 2011 (UTC)

Yellow Bladed LightsaberEdit

Where is the information concerning her having a yellow bladed lightsaber from? I read the source and it was nowhere said that she would have been given a yellow bladed lightsaber so if anyone knows where it comes from please show me the page thank you... if not *canon* info please remove from the page. ~~BlasterS33~~Unsigned comment by BlasterS33 (talk • contribs).

It is sourced (see the reference number 8 at the end of that sentence) to Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords: Prima Official Game Guide, I can doublecheck where in there it is said if need be. –Tm_T (Talk) 12:58, October 25, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah I would like that because I am pretty sure there is no mention (not acusing anyone of false information btw) just that I looked at the guide and found nothing in it.BlasterS33 (Talk) 13:28 October 29, 2011
