Prejudice of cloningEdit

Is that to say that he lived on a Separatist world during the Clone Wars? -- SFH 01:31, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

  • We don't know. His mention of a distaste for cloning comes from The Thrawn Trilogy Sourcebook, which predates our current understanding of what the Clone Wars entailed. It might be a reasonable supposition, though. jSarek 01:52, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

Mutiny on the Rand EclipticEdit

  • Should we include this vignette in his appearances? It appears in its entirety in sources already listed for Voren. jSarek 18:08, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

The opening crawlEdit

The article mentions: "In Galaxy Guide 1: A New Hope, the book ends with Voren formulating the beginning to a story he would tell based on his research. This beginning is the opening crawl for Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope."

I'm not sure if this is entirely accurate. Looking at that last page, the title of the page is "A Long Time Ago..." but that may be the out-of-universe title for the section itself. The actual "e-mail" Voren writes there has its own subject. It'd be neat to say he wrote the crawl but I just don't think the book's implying that. --JMM 18:42, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

  • The page ends with Voren writing, "If you were to ask me what I would leave for future generation, or even for visitors from another place, so that they might better understand these times that we are going through, it would be a story. For it is a story in its most basic sense. It is a grand and wondrous story. And I would start it something like this ..." The final three paragraphs are the opening crawl, verbatim. I don't see how that page can be interpreted as anything other than him authoring the crawl. jSarek 21:37, 10 October 2008 (UTC) EDIT: Just realized that they may have changed this between the First and Second Editions. I'm looking at a copy of the First Edition of GG1. jSarek 21:45, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

Rogues GalleryEdit

The Rogues Gallery in Star Wars Insider 133 shows that he was present on Yavin 4 at the ceremony after the battle. Can someone a bit more qualified add the appearance of Episode IV and the source of SW Insider 133 Rogues Gallery to this page, since it is a good article and I don't want to mess with it. --The Lampshade... Actor Edit

Derek Lyons claims on his website, among other places, to have played Voren Na'al. Judging by a production photo of him and Mark Hamill posing together also on the site, it would appear that is indeed him. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 23:02, January 25, 2013 (UTC)

  • Seems to be quite a bit of evidence there to suggest this is correct. I'll update the article accordingly. jSarek (talk) 12:45, February 1, 2013 (UTC)
