Tarkin

Any possibility of adding a summary from the Tarkin Book. --Marcuspearl (talk) 04:22, November 16, 2014 (UTC)

I dropped in a few lines at least. I'll add more when I don't need sleep quite so desparately. ASWalsh (talk) 07:23, November 29, 2014 (UTC)

Add Canon Page for Outland Region Security Force

Does anyone know how to create a Canon tab on an existing page? The link currently leads to the Legends page for ORSF. ASWalsh (talk) 18:28, November 29, 2014 (UTC)

Lothal

I am working on rewriting this section to help fit grammar and tense expectations of the wiki. Please do not edit until I write again, saying I am finish. HanYOLO (talk) 17:43, February 4, 2015 (UTC)

  • You would be better off adding an {{inuse}} tag to the article to indicate you are working on it. Supreme Emperor (talk) 17:49, February 4, 2015 (UTC)

Noted. I didn't know that existed. Regardless, I'm finished for now. Not perfect, but an improvement. HanYOLO (talk) 18:09, February 4, 2015 (UTC)

Hair Color

Tarkin by James Luceno says his hair, before graying, was auburn. Isn't that basically red? Kooshmeister (talk) 22:33, September 15, 2015 (UTC)

New Quote

What do you guys think of replacing the primary quote with "Of power, I could tell you much. One must seize the moment, and strike". It's from the Tarkin Novel by James Luceno.

New 'Behind the Scenes' information?

Due to Pablo Hidalgo's recent tweet, we've recently learned the origins of his first name... from an old computer screen saver made by LucasArts back in the day. --ChristopherLeeGallant (talk) 01:07, June 19, 2017 (UTC)

Gay

Why are my edits indicating Tarkin is a gay being removed? He is gay and it is now canon. See the canon novel "From a Certain Point of View."

Does Wookiepedia have a heteronormative bias? :o Unsigned comment by 174.45.64.179 (talk • contribs).

  • No it doesn't, its more that it is never outright said to be Tarkin despite the most likelihood it is Tarkin --Lewisr (talk) 01:30, February 20, 2018 (UTC)
  • Pablo Hidalgo confirmed it is Tarkin described in the book. Can we please at a minimum add a note under Legends that based on the story in From A Certain Point of View, many fans speculate that Tarkin is a gay? Unsigned comment by 174.45.64.179 (talk • contribs).
    • Sadly tweets can no longer be used due to a recent change in policy. I'd say the best place would in the behind the scenes section on Tarkin's canon page --Lewisr (talk) 01:40, February 20, 2018 (UTC)
      • And even if they can still be used, Legends would not be the best place to put such information on there (in that continuity, he's obviously straight, considering he has a wife, and besides which, his extramarital lover was Natasi Daala). Though isn't Hidalgo the guy in charge of continuity? I thought the exception to the whole "no tweets as sources" rule that was enacted recently was if the tweets in question dealt with canonical matters (which is why the TIE Reaper hasn't had its name changed despite its name technically being confirmed in one of Hidalgo's tweets). Weedle McHairybug (talk) 01:47, February 20, 2018 (UTC)
        • Yeah but we'd have to ask someone either in the story group or the author who the officer is as it is never said in the book, which then couldn't be used as a source for it being Tarkin for example. TIE Reaper was at least named elsewhere in a source we can use --Lewisr (talk) 01:52, February 20, 2018 (UTC)
