Vice Admiral Tallatz was an officer of the Galactic Empire's Imperial Navy during the Imperial Era. Tallatz served as a naval chief and member of the Joint Chiefs of the Imperial Military. One day, he and three other naval chiefs were summoned by Galactic Emperor Palpatine to meet him in the Denon system on the starship Defiance, a mobile flight academy operated by Commandant Pell Baylo.[1]
