- "Talus in the Corellian system had, like other nearby planets, a diverse mix of species inhabiting it."
- ―Beaumont Kin, The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire
Talus was a planet[1] located in the Corellia system.[1] The world was part of the Galactic Empire and under the governance of Planetary Governor Ili P'tan, who was intensely xenophobic.[5]
Behind the scenes[]
The planet Talus was first pictured Star Wars canon in the 2018 replica journal book Solo: A Star Wars Story: Tales from Vandor by Jason Fry on an image of the Corellian Engineering Corporation logo, showing all the planets of the Corellian system.[2] It was later identified as Talus in the 2019 Fantasy Flight Games roleplaying game sourcebook Gadgets and Gear.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the planet was first mentioned in the 1995 novel Ambush at Corellia by Roger MacBride Allen, the first volume in Star Wars: The Corellian Trilogy.[6] Talus made its first appearance in trilogy's second book Assault at Selonia later that same year.[7]
