"I tracked him to Jedha. The brass said I had no sanction—took my badge."
―Tam Posla, on his hunt for "Roofoo" and "Sawkee"[2]

A high ranking member of[2] the Milvayne Authority was the superior officer of[1] the celebrated lawman[3] Tam Posla.[1] Sometime by the year 0 BBY,[4] the officer took Posla off an investigation into a string of crimes carried out by the criminals known as "Roofoo" and "Sawkee,"[1] yet despite the removal, Posla tracked the two to[2] the moon[1] of Jedha. Subsequently,[2] Posla's superior officer had no choice but to[5] take the lawman's badge away, citing Posla's lack of sanction to continue his efforts.[2]

Behind the scenes[]

Tam Posla's superior officer was first mentioned in the 2016 reference book Star Wars: Rogue One: The Ultimate Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1]
