The Tao-Ni Security Elite Protector was a type of security droid that was used in IG-88's Droid Army. When IG-88 took control of Nym's Factory Compound in 1 ABY, some Tao-Ni Security Elite Protectors were stationed outside it. Some spacers attacked and defeated them, before entering the compound and starting the Battle of Nym's Factory Compound.

Tao-Ni Security Elite Protectors appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[2] Tao-Ni Security Elite Protectors were added to the game along with the "IG-88 heroic encounter", released with the "Chapter 7" update on November 1, 2007.[3]
