- "Try the Tatooine Sunset, one of Bakkar's signature drinks with a touch of desert pear."
- ―Eloc Throno
Tatooine Sunset was a beverage made with fermented fruit[2] and tea. The warm brown-colored drink was suitable for human consumption[1] and named after the sunsets of the planet Tatooine.[3]
Tatooine Sunsets were one of the top six drinks served at Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina in the city of Mos Eisley on Tatooine.[2] In 34 ABY,[5] Tatooine Sunsets with a touch of desert pear were available for purchase at Ronto Roasters in Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu. It was one of the signature drinks of Bakkar, a butcher from Tatooine and the owner of Ronto Roaster's. Eloc Throno, the author of Traveler's Guide to Batuu, recommended the drink.[4]
Behind the scenes[]
Tatooine Sunset was first mentioned in the 2015 reference book Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know.[2] The drink is available for guests to purchase at the Ronto Roasters food stall in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. The menu's description reads, "Gold Peak® Unsweetened Tea, Minute Maid® Lemonade with Melon and Blueberry."[6] Although depicted as orange-colored on menu photographs, the actual beverage is brown.[7]
