Taul was a swamp planet in the Gunthar system of the Outer Rim.
History[]
During the Galactic Civil War, Taul was the site of a Rebel Alliance trading post and training base used to train soldiers in severe conditions.
The Empire had largely ignored Taul and were unaware of the existence of a small Rebel base there. The Empire discovered the Rebel presence when one of the probe droids sent out by the empire to find the Rebel base on Hoth was dispatched to Taul.
The base was destroyed by the Victory-class Star Destroyer Dominator.
