A tax stamp was a type of stamp, presumably for the recording of taxes in some fashion. Barrels of ebla beer were among objects that were required to have this type of stamp, by order of the Galactic Empire. Nazhros Oleg once questioned a Lothal citizen as part of a security sweep, who reported that he had observed barrels of ebla beer being brought into a nearby bar at night that didn't have tax stamps.[1]
