- "Debris approaches the Trymant system! Celestial bodies in the danger zone include Korbatal, Ost Molkar, Taz Molkar, Trymant III, and Trymant IV."
- ―Mari San Tekka
Taz Molkar was an astronomical object located in the[3] binary[4] Trymant system.[3] The star system was situated in grid square L-20 of the Standard Galactic Grid[5] as part of the regions known as the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the Western Reaches.[2] Taz Molkar shared a part of its name with the fellow Trymant system celestial body Ost Molkar.[3] Around 232 BBY,[6] during an Emergence of the Great Hyperspace Disaster, Taz Molkar and several other astronomical objects of the Trymant system were bombarded by debris from destroyed starships.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
Taz Molkar was mentioned in "Tales of Villainy: The Gaze Electric," a secondary comic story published in the sixth issue of the Star Wars Adventures anthology comic-book series. The story was written by Daniel José Older, and the comic issue was published by IDW Publishing[3] on July 7, 2021.[7]
