Technical officer was a rank within several armed forces and security forces, including the Galactic Empire,[1] the Alliance to Restore the Republic,[2] and the Corellian Security Force.[3]
In the Galactic Empire, technical officers were staff officers assigned to Imperial Army garrisons and field commands. In garrison commands, they held the rank of High Colonel.[1]
