The Telaris system was located in the Pakuuni sector,[1] a part of the Slice portion of[2] the Outer Rim Territories.[1] At some point between 2 ABY and 3 ABY,[4] Mon Mothma, Commander-in-Chief of the military of the Rebel Alliance, sent a communique to Alliance Admiral Gial Ackbar that contained orders for him to travel as fast as possible to the Telaris system and assume command of the Alliance Fleet.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
The Telaris system was first mentioned in Paul Murphy's 1990 The Rebel Alliance Sourcebook, which was published by West End Games for use with Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[5] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed it in grid square T-6.[2]
