This template is to be used for citing individual pages on Amazon.com.

Usage

Copy the template code below and paste it into the appropriate place in an article. Fill in the required fields plus as many of the optional fields as necessary and remove any that you don't use.

Required parameters

domain: Put com, co.uk, or ca here if the page being cited is located on the respective domain.
url: URL of the web page, minus the domain name (https://www.amazon.com/).
text: Name of the page being cited.

Instructions for providing a backup link

In accordance with our Sourcing policy, all links to external sites must include a link to a backup version, preferably using Internet Archive. Instances that do not include one of the following parameters will result in the page being placed in the maintenance category.

This parameter uses the timestamp feature of Internet Archive. The URL supplied earlier in the template, along with archivedate, will provide a link to Internet Archive.
|archiveurl=https://archive.is/EfD8P
If Internet Archive does not work for the link in question, you can use archiveurl to provide a full URL to another backup website, such as archive.is.
|nobackup=1
If no backup link can be found for content that is no longer available, this parameter can be used. If the content is still available, you can screenshot and upload it to Wookieepedia instead.
