For other uses, see Tenebrous (disambiguation).

Tenebrous was an ancient Sith Lord who was the namesake of the "Tenebrous Legion," the 26th Legion of the Sith troopers of Darth Sidious' Sith Eternal. Because the history of the Sith was hidden from the rest of the galaxy, only Sith Eternal cultists were aware of the significance of the name.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

Tenebrous was first mentioned in Star Wars canon in the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary, a 2019 reference book written by Pablo Hidalgo that accompanied the film Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker.[1] The character was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity in "The Tenebrous Way", a short story in Star Wars Insider 130 written by Matthew Stover and illustrated by Brian Rood.[2]
