- "We'll head for Tessen. Get you out from there."
- ―Kawlan Roken, to a group of fugitives
Tessen was a celestial body in[1] the Tessen system of the Phelleem sector[3] in the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the Slice[2] that fell within grid square S-7 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] It was part of the Salin Corridor hyperspace route[4] which connected it to the astronomical object Boonta and[1] the planet[6] Sy Myrth.[1]
In 9 BBY,[7] Imperial Forces tracked down a group of fugitives being protected by the Hidden Path on[8] the world[9] Jabiim[8]—which was also located in grid square S-7[1]—and forced them to flee offworld in a JT-731 Broadhorn transport without a functioning hyperdrive.[8] While the transport was pursued by the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Devastator, the Hidden Path's leader, Kawlan Roken, informed those on board that they would head for Tessen, where the Hidden Path would then get them to safety. The Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi then departed from the vessel alone in an escape craft, drawing off the Star Destroyer so that the transport could escape.[5]

This assumes that the name "Salin Corridor," as used in Nexus of Power, applies to the canon hyperspace route depicted on the map that matches the depiction of the Star Wars Legends route with the same name in The Essential Atlas per
Jason Fry (@jasoncfry.bsky.social.) on Bluesky (post on January 3, 2025): "They are indeed the same. Same galaxy, same map. In the rare event something needs to be changed, it will be discussed. (In response to: Hi @jasoncfry.bsky.social, was hoping you could confirm for Wookieepedia purposes that the hyperspace routes depicted on the Galaxy Map given out at Celebration are intended to be the same routes as in Legends. Sorry to bother, but would make our lives much easier to have it confirmed!)" (screenshot).
