The Adventures of Jar Jar " is a musical track and suite composed by John Williams for the 1999 film Star Wars : Episode I The Phantom Menace London Symphony Orchestra , it is first played when the Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn encounters the Gungan outcast Jar Jar Binks . The musical theme functions as a leitmotif for Binks throughout The Phantom Menace .
"The Adventures of Jar Jar" includes the "Droid Invasion Theme " and "Anakin's Theme " as well as a phrase from Williams' "The Flight To Neverland" track from the 1991 film Hook Revenge of the Sith
