"It's the first time I've confronted such darkness. It was a terrible power he had. If I had fought him in his prime, the results may have been much different."
―Tajin Crosser to Dan G'vash on The Elder's powers[1]

Two red single-bladed lightsabers belonged to The Elder.[1] At some point between 832 BBY and 32 BBY,[2] The Elder arrived at Habo on his starship and explored the planet's mountains, which the locals noticed. After his arrival, Tajin Crosser and Dan G'vash also arrived at the planet—after the former sensed a disturbance in the Force—the Jedi later engaged the dark sider, during the duel, The Elder dual wielded both of his lightsabers and used Force lightning, however, he was ultimately knocked out by the "powerful" Jedi, Crosser. After he was knocked out, The Elder used a self-destruct mechanism and destroyed his starship. Moments later, he turned into stone, however, his lightsabers remained.[1]

Description[]

The dark sider The Elder owned a pair of single-bladed lightsabers that produced a red blade when activated. The lightsabers' handles were covered with skin, which dropped from the bottom of the lightsaber. The red-colored blade produced by the saber emitted an irregular form at the bottom of the blade.[1]

Crosser and The Elder duel.

At some point between 832 BBY and 32 BBY,[2]The Elder arrived at the Outer Rim planet of Habo aboard his The Elder's starship. The locals of the planet witnessed the dark sider exploring the mountains, which surprised them, as they did not expect someone of The Elder's age to do so.[1]

Two Jedi, Jedi Master Tajin Crosser and Padawan Dan G'vash arrived later on the planet, they were informed regarding the dark sider's activities by the locals—as well as the Elder's ship's location—the duo later engaged The Elder in a lightsaber duel, and ultimately knocked him out. When Crosser was aiding G'vash, who had been injured by The Elder, one lightsaber has been cut by Crosser as he uses the Force lightning, as he going to strike him with his lightsaber while Crosser holding the Force lightning with his lightsaber but saved by his apprentice as he was distracted and killed by Crosser, the dark sider used the detonator to self-destruct and destroyed his ship, transforming into stone and disappearing.[1]

It also takes place hundreds of years after the Sith disappeared. As The Star Wars Book places the disappearance of the Sith a thousand years earlier, they disappeared in 1032 BBY, so "The Elder" takes place in 832 BBY at the earliest and 32 BBY at the latest.
