The Force Awakens (German: Das Erwachen der Macht) is an original German-language audio drama adaptation of Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. It contains dramatized passages from the film script performed by a cast in German translation along with narration by Joachim Kerzel. The CD was released by Universal Music in 2018 as part of a series of five single-disc audio adaptations of the sequel trilogy & the two Star Wars Story films. The format is the same as the adaptations of the original and prequel trilogies which were released by WortArt in 2004-2005.
