The Force Awakens Core Set is an updated 2-player starter set for the Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures Game, a tactical ship-to-ship combat game released by Fantasy Flight Games. It features three fully assembled and painted starships—one T-70 X-wing starfighter and two First Order TIE fighter. It was released on September 4, 2015.
Although it is a variant of the X-Wing: Core Set, it is neither a reboot of the Core Set itself nor does it replace it.[2]
