The High Republic Adventures 17 is the seventeenth issue of the 2023 comic series Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures. The issue was written by Daniel José Older, illustrated by Harvey Tolibao and published by Dark Horse Comics on April 30, 2025. The issues contains the story "The Jedi and the Warden, Part 4."

Publisher's summary[]

As Battle of Eriadu continues, the leader of the resistance, Jedi Knight Farzala Tarabal is faced with an impossible decision: risk the lives of his friends, or forfeit their chances of defeating the Nihil. It's a dilemma that sees Farzala descend to a dark place, only to discover a surprising confidant.

The climactic final battle between the Jedi and the Nihil that has been years in the making.

STAR WARS
THE HIGH REPUBLIC
THE BATTLE OF ERIADU

Finally, a glimmer of hope! The freedom
fighters have been saved from near-
certain annihilation by the fortuitous
arrival of the REPUBLIC FLEET, led by
ADMRIAL KRONARA.

But the fight is far from over. NIHIL
GENERAL VIESS and her fleet continue
to bombard Eriadu from the air,
while the WARDEN and his troops
rush the resistance stronghold in
BRI-PHRANG CITY.

From his artillery command tower
overlooking the battlefield, resistance
leader FARZALA TARABAL faces an
impossible choice….
