The Ice Worm Cometh! was the sixth installment of The Kingdom of Ice, published in Pizzazz 15 in December 1978. The entire story arc was reprinted in the UK in Star Wars Weekly 57–60 in 1979.
Plot summary[]
In order to escape a savage ice storm, Luke Skywalker directs R2-D2, C-3PO, Odan, and Fafnir to turn whatever heat induction units or blasters they have on the ground. The Rebels break through to the underground tunnels bored by an ice worm. They travel down the tunnel to catch up to the Imperials who have kidnapped Princess Leia Organa, unaware that an ice worm has begun tracking them.

The New Essential Chronology dates the Battle of Yavin and Evacuation of Yavin to 0 ABY and 0.5 ABY respectively.
