The Imperial Suite is a track from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story composed by Michael Giacchino . It contains two primary themes associated with the Galactic Empire ; the first is a military march reminiscent of The Imperial March by John Williams , which underscores scenes of the Death Star and Imperial forces; and the second is a motif associated with the character of Director Orson Callan Krennic .
"The Imperial Suite" is the twentieth track on the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story soundtrack . Its motifs appear in numerous other tracks: notably Krennic's motif is the first musical theme heard in the film, and has variations throughout "He's Here for Us"; and the Imperial theme is given a full statement in "When Has Become Now". A variation of the Imperial theme sounds in the track "A Long Ride Ahead."
