"The Keeper's Secret!" was the eighth instalment of The Keeper's World, published in Pizzazz 8 in May 1978. The entire story arc was reprinted in the UK in Star Wars Weekly 47–50 in 1978–79, and in the 1999 limited-release comic Star Wars 0.
Plot summary[]
The Keeper strikes Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, C-3PO, and R2-D2 with an energy beam that grants them knowledge of the Keeper's history. She was built to rebuild a war-torn planet, preparing it for the return of its original inhabitants. To continue her mission the Keeper must protect her secret, and so she sets off a groundquake to ward off the pursuing Imperial stormtroopers.

The New Essential Chronology dates the Battle of Yavin and Evacuation of Yavin to 0 ABY and 0.5 ABY respectively.
