"The Lost Stories, Part 1" is a comic story featuring Emil Graf and the crew of the Star Herald. The story was written by Cavan Scott, illustrated by David M. Buisán, and published in Star Wars Adventures 30 on January 29, 2020.[1]

In the comic Milo Graf is referred to as Emil's "great-grandfather." However, Cavan Scott has confirmed that it should have been just "grandfather."[3]

As "The Lost Stories, Part 1" features the First Order, which collapses in Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, it must be set before the events of the film, dated to one year after the Hosnian Cataclysm by Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary. Star Wars: Galactic Atlas places the Hosnian Cataclysm to 34 ABY, so The Rise of Skywalker must be set in 35 ABY.
