The Princess and the Scoundrel is a canon novel written by Beth Revis set shortly after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi that features the wedding of Han Solo and Leia Organa and the couple's honeymoon aboard the Halcyon Star Cruiser. It was published by Del Rey on August 16, 2022.

The Princess and the Scoundrel was known as "Misbehaving" during production.[3] The book was announced by StarWars.com on February 14, 2022.[4]
While the first hardcover book to hold the logo was The High Republic: The Battle of Jedha,[5] the paperback edition of The Princess and the Scoundrel is the first book to bear the "Random House Worlds" imprint on its spine and copyright page, according to Del Rey senior editor Tom Hoeler.[6]
