The Ring was an astronomical object found within the Anoat sector of the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories. It was situated relatively close to the planets Gerrenthum and Nothoiin.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Ring first appeared in Star Wars: Uprising,[1] a canon mobile-game developed by Kabam and released on September 10, 2015.[2] Although it did not appear in the game's story missions or dialogue, the Ring was pictured on a map of the Anoat sector, in which Star Wars: Uprising took place.[1] The Ring was initially created for Star Wars Legends, being first mentioned in Galactic Gazetteer: Hoth and the Greater Javin, a 2004 supplement for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game.[3] In 2009, The Essential Atlas subsequently established that the Ring was a black dwarf,[4] although the Ring's nature was not specified within Star Wars: Uprising.[1]
