"The Rise of the Rebellion and the Battle of Yavin" is the nineteenth booklet in a series of canon reference booklets of the Star Wars Encyclopedia and was published on March 9th, 2021.
The devastation suffered by Jedha, Scarif, and ultimately Alderaan just confirmed the Rebel Alliance's worst fears: the Galactic Empire had built a battle station, the Death Star, which housed a power unlike any seen before. never. In a desperate maneuver, after stealing the battle station plans, the Rebellion prepared an attack on the Imperial weapon. The only hope was to reach its only weak point, located inside the reactor.
In the French version of "The Rise of the Rebellion and the Battle of Yavin," Imperial officerCassio Tagge is said to have the military rank of Major General, but is later said to have the rank of Grand General, a rank Tagge would not have until after the Battle of Yavin. In the version released in the United States, Tagge is identified as being a Grand General instead of Major General, and is later said to be a High General.
